Great service and pristine gift wrapping even for a small 98$ Hand Cream. The attending lady asked if it was a gift and proceeded to kindly gift wrap it and provide a letter card I could write my best wishes on. Overall great experience at this outlet.

To be honest the sales people in Orchard Ion Chanel beauty don’t deserve even a star. It’s there simply because it’s a google requirement. My friend and I head down during lunch hour yesterday, wanted to redeem a sample of Chanel fragrance. A lady in heavy makeup said we will be attended to by another colleague. While waiting, I can see that she was attending to 2 westerners enthusiastically but they did not request to buy anything, how busy can you be seriously? After waiting for more than 5 mins, we approached another male sales associate at the counter, he is more polite than the lady but he also told us they are busy and another colleague will attend to us. I am appalled this is the kind of service we offered in Singapore and Ion is one of our most well-known malls here. For the entire shop to behave in this way, it must be a top down direction. SG Chanel Beauty, I don’t know what is your requirement when it comes to hiring, but if teaching your staff to pick and choose customers is your strategy, I hope you know how outdated and stupid it is.

I agree with many other reviews here regarding customer service and encountered the same experience - being STOPPED by hand ✋ to ask questions, this is pretty rude. Also same experience that a staff asked me to look myself first and she will attend to me later. Then the later became never. Maybe I didn’t dress pretty that day, and looked like I don’t want to buy? Of course I couldn’t buy anything without proper attendance from the staffs. While I was looking and trying all the different cosmetics, there was a male staff standing there looked at me but didn’t offer any help. A simple question of “do you need any help?” would do wonders that time. This was not the first time I had such experience with Chanel. And it was only with Chanel, that I felt like not buying anything because of terrible experience.

Positive vibe service by cosmetologist here :) Her name is Jess Sim. She let me try a lot of lipstick shades and then yes happy to get her what I want today for fast shopping in 20 mins! I purchased the lipstick and fragrance primer today I will be back for more collection

I visited the ION branch today and was served by Dex. Dex was very professional and extremely helpful. It is my first visit to Gentle Monster today. His professionalism created a lasting impact. He took pains to show me the various frames as I was looking for that perfect one which will match my face cut. Thank you Dex. Because of you, I will surely bring my family and friend ls here. Subject: Poor Customer Service at ION Orchard Store I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at ION store today at around 2:30 pm. My husband and I visited their store intending to purchase shades and experience the in-store buying process. However, upon arrival, we were met with a group of six staff members (4 men 2 ladies) who were more engaged in conversation with each other than attending to customers. Despite our presence, they failed to acknowledge or assist us. What was even more striking was the stark contrast in treatment when a Caucasian customer entered the store shortly after us. The staff members immediately greeted him warmly, whereas they had completely ignored us. This perceived bias in service was not only disappointing but also unsettling. Unfortunately, the experience has left a lasting impression, and we have decided to take our business online instead. We will no longer be visiting their physical store, as we do not feel confident that we'll be receive the respect and service that we deserve as a customer. This was a missed opportunity for their store to make a sale and provide a positive customer experience. I hope that they will take concrete steps to address the issues that we faced and ensure that all customers are treated with fairness and respect.
