Just wanted to check my eyesight as vision has not been sharp recently. Was expecting to make a new pair of glasses. Optician Jasmine Tan was very patient and conducted a very thorough eye check. Turns out there was a marginal increase but after she adjusted my current pair of glasses, vision automatically became clearer as she adjusted the focal point. She did not employ any hard selling tactics at all to make me purchase a new pair. Appreciate her professionalism and patience.
Dropped by to get a necklace polished with them and their staff and security directed me to the Takashimaya outlet as they said they were busy. Went to the Taka outlet and they directed me back to ION for the same reason. If no one wants to serve or provide proper service, then that's perfectly fine with me, I'll find no reason to purchase from them ever again - plenty of other brands to shop from anyway. The poor security guard had to apologise to me multiple times for this entire fiasco I was put through, which should not have had to happen at all.
When we entered we got greeted by the lovely employees. When we were looking around they help suggest us other items that we might like. They also offered us water. Overall great experience.
Located within Ion Orchard, travel on the red MRT line and alight a Orchard station. There is an exit which leads straight into Ion and you can use the elevator to travel to the second level, right beside TWG is an entrance into Tiffany & Co. The other entrance is at the ground level located outside of Ion Orchard.
Tiffany & Co prides themselves with fine jewelry of superb quality and craftsmanship. They have top tier customer service too and on that note, do not try to attempt to haggle as prices are strictly fixed.
I would like to commend HuiXi and Mina for their professionalism and friendliness. It was my first purchase and they offered me great advices with my decision. Kindly look for them if you need help.
Bought a necklace and braclet years ago with one of the main perks being the free cleaning service. Absolute disgust and ridiculous for Tiff & Co to be charging $30 cleaning per piece (supposedly starting from March 2025). That's $60 to clean the bracelet and necklace while the kit to self-clean is $75.
Last visit.
Had a great experience at the ION Orchard branch, thanks to Cheng Cheng — hence the 5 stars. Even though I only came for a cleaning service (which likely earns little commission), she treated us with professionalism, warmth, and VIP-level service. Her experience and dedication truly stood out. I sincerely hope her standard becomes the benchmark for the rest of the team.
That said, service quality really depends on the staff, and I also had my fair share of bad experience at their other branches.
Before ION, I visited the MBS branch, where a male staff member explained — in a rather patronizing tone — that the cleaning service is now chargeable, and implied I probably couldn’t afford it, without even checking what kind of jewelry I had brought. It definitely left a bad impression.
A few years back at their Takashimaya branch, an older staff member assisted me with a free cleaning, then asked for my contact details to “double-check” my account — which came across as questioning whether I truly owned the jewelry. That had never happened before and felt quite offensive.
Overall, the service experience clearly varies depending on the staff and their level of professionalism. My recent visit with Cheng Cheng, however, was exemplary and truly worthy of commendation.
The customer service at Ion Orchard was subpar at best. I was attended to by Gina, and while the initial interaction was tolerable, the follow-ups and post-purchase service were severely lacking. With such disengaged and jaded staff, the entire purchase felt purely transactional rather than special.
For a brand that claims to pride itself on luxury and service, this experience fell far below expectations. Goes to show how easily customer service, or the lack of, can diminishes the brand.
Was hosted by Jamie and Emmie here at Tiffany Ion, and it was such a lovely jewelry shopping experience. Emmie was kind enough to show me the men's collection, which in full transparency wasn't a big one here at Ion, especially after the LVMH merger.
Took out some bracelets, some bangles, some cuffs, and she wasn't stingy at all in showcasing what they had and offering her thoughts on the various styles. She also made sure to ask interesting questions to finding out my style and what I didn't like.
Even when trying on diamond studs, we were discussing the sizes that fit my ear, and the team was especially helpful in finding the various cuts, sizes up and down from where we initially indexed on, for us to try.
Thanks team, especially helpful!
Made an appointment online for wedding band viewing together with my fiancée. Same day that evening the appointment was made online, I was contacted by the CA to confirm my appointment saying it is 11.30am, whereas I clarify that appointment was for 5.30pm together with the screen shot of the email confirmation. So small hiccups which is fine.
Following on the day of appointment, 10.26am was contacted by another CA and mention appointment is at 5pm, which I clarify again it is 5.30pm together with the screen shot of the email confirmation which I was thinking why another CA asking me for details again. Then only by 2.23pm, 1st CA message me and mention that she was assigned to attend an event, so 2nd CA did not mention anything about taking over 1st CA (which fair, i did not ask as well) then 1st CA only mention by afternoon time when 2nd CA already contacted me at 10.26am. Ok still minor issues.
Fast forward to actual appointment, my fiancée and I were early for 10mins, so we were given water and waited a bit as our CA assigned (2nd CA) went bathroom. Then when we started viewing, everything seems like rushed and waiting for decisions, when ask to show a matching wedding band for male, CA just mention can choose any with no recommendations and no introductions to the rings we are looking at and provide suggestion. We were just given the rings we wanted to see and the CA just waited there quietly looking at us, when my fiancée casually mention about her Tiffany & Co. necklace she was wearing, there was also no suggestion made to help with cleaning/polishing since we are already there.
When we wrap up our viewing disappointingly, our CA just stay there while we walk ourselves out by climbing the stairs up from inside the store to exit back to the mall, whereas 3 other groups of customer without purchasing as well, was provided an option by their CA that they can open the door on 1st floor for them to exit so even if they want to go back into mall, they can take the escalator without needing to climb stair case, but we were not given a choice at all by our CA.
Super disappointing from Tiffany & Co. was expecting a lot from them due to their branding and how my friends also look for them for wedding bands, our visit make us reluctant to return or even introduce others to visit. Advice others to think twice before wasting your time for bad service, other jeweler provide much better service.
I visited Tiffany a week ago to get a simple ring for my fiancé and was served by Cheng Cheng. To be honest we were quite intimidated initially as it was our first time entering a luxury store, but Cheng Cheng made us feel so welcome and eased us through everything. The process was smooth, simple and she was ever-ready with recommendations. I throughly had a good experience ❤️
