⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointed with the service at Gentle Monster Orchard Ion. My wife and I walked into the store intending to buy a pair of sunglasses, but despite there being SIX staff members present, not a single one bothered to acknowledge us. They were too busy chatting among themselves, completely ignoring customers. We stood there for 10 minutes, expecting at least some form of assistance, but nothing. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and it completely turned us off from making a purchase. If this is the kind of service they provide, I’d rather take my business elsewhere. Absolutely terrible experience

I recently visited Gentle Monster and had the pleasure of being assisted by Zac, and I have to say, the service was exceptional! Zac was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through their wide range of sunglasses with a level of professionalism and friendliness that made the whole experience enjoyable. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and provided excellent recommendations without ever feeling pushy. I left with the perfect pair of sunglasses, and I truly appreciate Zac’s top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Walked into Gentle Monster Ion Orchard on Sunday 22 Dec 2024 looking for some Xmas presents. While browsing around, we were promptly attended to by Doreen. She had just attended to other customers at the cashier and without delay came to us to offer her assistance. She approached us with a friendly smile and asked if she could be of help. We told her our intentions of getting a few gifts and asked for her opinion. Having known that it was our first time at Gentle Monster, she briefly introduced to us the general range before zooming in to find out what we were looking for. Thereafter, she brought out a few popular, top selling designs for us to browse and gave her honest opinions and suggestion. During the whole time, she was never pushy or walked away to attend to other customers. Subsequently, we made our purchases and praised her for her commitment and time to us. Throughout the whole time, we noticed there were other staff present in the outlet but the rest of them did not attend to customers and seemed snobbish towards customers whom they think will not make purchase. Hence with this review, I do hope that the management of this branch review and consider Doreen to be next in line for promotion or a big bonus. She really deserves it. For customers considering getting any frames or sunglasses from Gentle Monster, I hope you will get to meet Doreen as well. I am sure she will be able to guide and recommend you the perfect choice.

I visited the ION branch today and was served by Dex. Dex was very professional and extremely helpful. It is my first visit to Gentle Monster today. His professionalism created a lasting impact. He took pains to show me the various frames as I was looking for that perfect one which will match my face cut. Thank you Dex. Because of you, I will surely bring my family and friend ls here. I had a great time at Ion Orchard Gentle Monster, especially with Stephy's assistance. She was incredibly helpful and understanding. I am pleased with the patience and attention to detail displayed over my entire experience. She provides a thorough and lucid explanation, which is also comforting. Her services have made me want to return to the store.

Subject: Poor Customer Service at ION Orchard Store I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at ION store today at around 2:30 pm. My husband and I visited their store intending to purchase shades and experience the in-store buying process. However, upon arrival, we were met with a group of six staff members (4 men 2 ladies) who were more engaged in conversation with each other than attending to customers. Despite our presence, they failed to acknowledge or assist us. What was even more striking was the stark contrast in treatment when a Caucasian customer entered the store shortly after us. The staff members immediately greeted him warmly, whereas they had completely ignored us. This perceived bias in service was not only disappointing but also unsettling. Unfortunately, the experience has left a lasting impression, and we have decided to take our business online instead. We will no longer be visiting their physical store, as we do not feel confident that we'll be receive the respect and service that we deserve as a customer. This was a missed opportunity for their store to make a sale and provide a positive customer experience. I hope that they will take concrete steps to address the issues that we faced and ensure that all customers are treated with fairness and respect.

Service is good, staff are non intrusive, you can try the spectacles and feel it without staff circling you. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Good ambience and friendly staff. I received a message that the pocket collection had just restocked, and went down to the store. Orchard was all sold out, but Jackson was able to call to the MBS outlet to check for availability. Was able to secure a pair in the end. Thanks Jackson!

Normally we don’t like to be served when we walk into a store. Angie was friendly and not pushy. She came over to give us advice to decide on the designs. I was holding onto 3 glasses and couldn’t decide on one. Her advice/reasoning were similar to what I was contemplating. Nothing about it was hard selling. This is the type of sales associate that we need in every boutique. Angie deserves a RAISE!! She gives great service. I can’t say enough. With just a few words, I made my decision and bought the BELL-YVG1 with cosmic logo design on the side temples. She also recommended me to a few optical stores to turn them into clear reading glasses.
