Subject: Poor Customer Service at ION Orchard Store I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at ION store today at around 2:30 pm. My husband and I visited their store intending to purchase shades and experience the in-store buying process. However, upon arrival, we were met with a group of six staff members (4 men 2 ladies) who were more engaged in conversation with each other than attending to customers. Despite our presence, they failed to acknowledge or assist us. What was even more striking was the stark contrast in treatment when a Caucasian customer entered the store shortly after us. The staff members immediately greeted him warmly, whereas they had completely ignored us. This perceived bias in service was not only disappointing but also unsettling. Unfortunately, the experience has left a lasting impression, and we have decided to take our business online instead. We will no longer be visiting their physical store, as we do not feel confident that we'll be receive the respect and service that we deserve as a customer. This was a missed opportunity for their store to make a sale and provide a positive customer experience. I hope that they will take concrete steps to address the issues that we faced and ensure that all customers are treated with fairness and respect.
