Smaller location at the basement of Paragon, near the escalator. Tried the new Kombu Infused Tsukemen and it's a different experience. The noodle is silky with a oily sensation, while the broth is very rich and meaty. It's a great contrast if you like something different. Service was very quick too.

Went on a weekday for dinner and there was no queue. The ramen is good, worth another visit if craving for ramen. Water is free 😆

2 stars The ramen itself was tasty—that’s the one star they earned. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Service was slow, and staff often avoided eye contact and seemed uncomfortable communicating. The wait time was especially frustrating: I waited over 30 minutes for a bowl of dry noodles. Other customers who arrived later were served within 10 minutes, while some waited over 20 minutes like I did. Such inconsistency in serving times needs serious improvement, especially in a busy Orchard location. Even for a newly opened shop, this level of disorganization is hard to overlook.

Ramen branch noted for its fish-based shoyu soup and excellent noodles. I came here for the Bonito-infused Tsukkemen. The noodles were excellent as expected - smooth and springy. Steeping it in a light broth makes them extra silky. The dipping soup is impressive especially considering that it’s a fish base - more umami than salty. My only slight issue is that the soup is swimming with diced ginger, and while the ginger balances the fish well, it lends a slight bit of bitterness with every bite - maybe slicing it and putting it at the side will be better? The wari / top-up soup is provided (and served with the meal without you asking, which is nice) and it’s essentially a light dashi, which complements the fish soup like they’re meant for each other. 👌 Portions of noodles is just enough. The dish does not have any meat slices but the soup itself has diced pieces of pork. (Photo included some additional pork I ordered) Staff is friendly but I felt they could be a bit more deliberate when they dropped the basket for my bag without explanation or an excuse me. Definitely try the tsukkemen, but I think the mazesoba and signature ramen will be just as nice (maybe next time!)

Came for the tsukemen, got the tsukemen We also got a side of lousy service and dose of higher than average wait time for our food which could have been better managed (food seemed to be batched by kitchen) As mentioned by other reviewers, service is not the best. Food is good, but service is lamentable

Having been to the Shaw outlet, I know the food will be good. And indeed, the ramen was great. Service was slow but understandable as it was the lunch rush hour, can't fault the staff for that.

One of my favorite places in Paragon is Sanpoutei Ramen. I really enjoy their Shoyu Ramen — it’s light, has a nice broth, chewy noodles, and a good portion with slices of juicy pork. I also love the egg. I especially like going there after a blood test or check-up at Mt. Elizabeth Hospital. It’s just across the street — you just cross the road and head straight down to the basement. Right after getting a blood sample taken, it feels really nourishing and helps you get your energy back. Of course, they also have beer and sake. It’s definitely our go-to spot every time we visit Paragon.

Can’t remember if I have tried before but nikumori’s soup tasted meh. The pork belly was slightly overcooked - it wasn’t tender or perhaps it was a little thick. The tonkotsu soup was better though I didn’t remember it to be so ‘thin’ unless they were trying to be health conscious and reduced the seasoning. While Service for my table was ok, certain observations made me think otherwise.

The q here is shorter than the outlet at Shaw. But the food is equally delicious! Especially love the Tsukemen noodles (dry dipping ramen) 😍 Try it!

My favourite ramen :) always consistent, and the shoyu soup is the best!
