Dr Chew is very patient, takes the time to listen and explain the situation. Great bedside manners and someone I would consult anytime. The clinic staff is polite and helpful too. Overall the visits themselves provide hope even before any medical intervention.

While Dr Chew is a pleasant doctor, I cannot say the same for the clinic assistant. The service by the assistant here is below par for a specialist clinic located at a medical clinic. My first visit last year was already unpleasant and I find the staff rude. I thought perhaps it was a one-off experience and hence, This year, I gave them a second chance and book an appointment with them again for another issue. This time, I turn up at the clinic just to know that they missed my appointment all together. Best part, I called 2 days prior to confirm the appointment. In addition, while I understand they are not insurance agents, they misinformed me on the process for my insurance claim which is something that the clinic should be aware. I'm never returning to this clinic after 2 unpleasant experience.

Had a very wonderful experience with them, from consultation all the way to post-surgery. It was very reassuring to have Dr Chew throughout the entire process, and it's nice to be always greeted with a smile by the helpful and kind staff.

I am grateful to my cousin for recommending Dr. Chew Chee Ping, under whose expert care I had the privilege of receiving treatment for a pinched nerve that caused unbearable pain in my left leg. I was not able to stand or walk for extended periods for a few months before I seek medical treatment at Dr. Chew’s clinic. I recently underwent surgery for a rotator cuff tear and tendon implant at Dr. Chew's clinic, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care I received. Dr. Chew is not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. From the initial consultation to post-op follow-ups, he took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of the procedure and answer all of my questions. His attention to detail and genuine concern for his patients' well-being truly set him apart. I highly recommend Dr. Chew and his clinic to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

I was referred to this clinic by my GP, hoping for proper support and care for my wrist injury. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be deeply disappointing. I was advised to purchase a wrist brace costing over $300 and was told it would be claimable under insurance. I later found out this was not the case. When I raised the issue, the clinic claimed I had misunderstood and insisted they had advised that claims depend on the insurer. However, that advice was clearly given in reference to an MRI—not the medical device I was asked to purchase. There was a clear miscommunication, but instead of taking accountability, the clinic shifted the blame to me. When I request to return the brace, I was told it couldn’t be accepted without the original box—which I had discarded due to my limited mobility and the fact that it was handed to me without a bag. Despite explaining the situation, there was very little empathy shown. The clinic chose to focus on policy over patient care or taking responsibility for the miscommunication. This entire experience caused me unnecessary stress and frustration on top of managing an already painful injury. I’ve since cancelled my follow-up appointment and won’t be returning. I sincerely hope no other patient has to go through something similar.

My experience at the clinic was marred by unprofessionalism due to one counter staff member who failed to provide a detailed breakdown of costs for my scan and x-ray. I had to request an itemized list for each service after expressing my disappointment in her conduct. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with indifference. To add to my frustration, I didn't receive a WhatsApp reminder for my scan appointment, which may have been a consequence of the staff's displeasure with my request for an itemized breakdown, despite her earlier assurance that the quoted price was lower than what I was comparing it to. The staff seemed to imply that we shouldn't question or request a detailed breakdown of the costs. In many places, patients do expect and even demand detailed itemized lists to understand what they're being charged for, especially for expensive items/scan/procedures. This can help build trust and ensure that the billing process is transparent. I emailed the doctor to cancel my scan appointment and inform him that I wouldn't be returning to the clinic due to the unpleasant experience. However, the response I received was from an anonymous, unsigned sender that offered a hollow apology without addressing my concerns. This lack of meaningful response only added to my frustration, highlighting a concerning absence of accountability and responsibility in addressing patient concerns. It's disheartening to see numerous negative comments about the staff's attitude from last year on Google as well, with no apparent effort to improve. This lack of action reinforces my decision not to recommend the clinic Below is the hollow apologies response from an anonymous sender from the clinic, as there is no name nor signature: Dear Ms xxx, Good morning. We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are gutted when we don't meet expectations. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will use the feedback to make us better and to ensure this does not happen again. You have my personal commitment to improve the way our staff serves every patient. Until then , please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of the team.

I made an appointment with Dr Chew for my mum after reading the positive reviews people had left here and I wanted to leave a review here as well to help someone else. Dr Chew is definitely one of the best doctors my family had came across. He was extremely patient, reassuring and displayed high amount of empathy and these traits really helped to put my mother at ease. Overall, I really liked how he made the effort to explain the condition and procedure in a manner and language (mandarin) that my mum could understand. We were very lucky to have found him to do the surgery for my mum. And also, his admin team (especially Agnes) was extremely capable and on the ball. That really helped to make our life so much easier when dealing with the unknowns. Thank you Dr Chew and team!

Dr consultation costs $100 but the medicine is close to $300 and mostly unnecessary. Feels like they are trying to earn as much as possible from patients

Had my left knee arthroscopy here (they worked with Farrer Park Hospital most of the time👍) to repair my meniscus tear on August 2024 by Doctor Chew Chee Ping! The operation was a successful one and everything feels ok now! Doctor had also been super patient with me for all the questions I have before during and after operation as this is my first time :P Very appreciate that 🙏 The front desk ladies are very kind and helpful with all the processes! They also attended to my questions very quickly which I appreciated a lot 🙇‍♂️ Thank you Agnes for handling all the requests I had to clinic or to hospital! :) Thank you Chuu Man for your effort in operation room together with doctor! Oh and also thanks for the prefect dressing changing too! :) Thank you Shannon for going extra mile when explaining and sharing stuff & stories :) Did some researches and approached some clinics before this, but in the end I am glad that I chose this one!
