I liked the working style of the Singapore Post. Envelopes and stamps were required to send a letter to Singapore Customs. There are no queues at the Orchard in the center. I took a ticket and in two minutes my number was on the board. But keep in mind that sometimes the queue can stretch for a long time, because this is a branch that works even on Sunday.

The staff here some nice (Chinese elderly lady counter 5) and some v rude (Malay lady wearing specs counter 3), scolded me for not understanding her and slapped my hand when she selected the wrong payment mode. Waiting time when they just open 10.30am just 5 mins wait. But lunch time on both weekdays and weekends need to wait 0.5-1hr before being served. Regarding the SAM machine - Please avoid using the SAM kiosk here. Bought $40 worth of $2 stamps, only to be have it eaten by the machine. Machine suddenly forced closed on the screen after payment (pic 3), says its “under maintenance” (pic 4), still got charged (pic 1), then 5 mins later screen returned to homepage like nothing happened (pic 2). No stamps came out. Not the first time there’s an issue with this machine. Two weeks ago, couldn’t even get to the payment page, the screen kept hanging. Called their 1605 hotline to report this issue with the machine. They say need 3 working days on top of the day I called (Friday) to investigate and give an update on the refund. They mail parcels great, no missing parcel unlike the Raffles Place branch (3 missing parcels in 2 weeks).

I was a bit struggling to fill in the documents (3 different small parcels to send in Australia and France). The prices are affordable ! For any parcel under 0,500kg you pay 8.20$ (11.9 tracking one) to France or Australia. The ladies there are all very kind, helpful and efficient. They know well their job and are very professional.

Nadia, Eugene and other Malay Girl are very helpful and patiently assist me to shift members Parcel to Spain. They assist me steps by steps until I was able to finish the procedure. Great customer service despite how busy the counter while I'm waiting to finish to fill my shipment details. They are very accomodating and andGreatCustomer service they provided even under the pressure. Please recognize their work commitment. Thia people are worth to Keepeepppp👍👍👍👍

Not easy to find as it is hidden by other shops so better go through the jewelry stores until you reach the corner. The popstation was not so bad but the scanner seems like not working well. You have to manually enter the reference code. Not so bad. Could improve better.

Ridiculous, Orchard SingPost is closed on Sundays but no staff bothered to change the timings on both Google and SingPost’s website too? A total wasted trip down to this outlet and made me miss the final day to ship a parcel to the US. Please be better by letting your customers know next time.

Hi, I would like to highlight some shortfalls for improving more efficient and effective service for all SingPost outlets. I have no complaints about the staff, however I hope SingPost can consider a vending machine or self checkout payment counter for those who DO NOT need the counter service & they ONLY need to buy an envelope, smartpac bags or stamps, so that they don’t have to queue for a very long time to wait for customers in front of them with tons of packages/parcels for mailing process with the counter staff. Yesterday I have waited more than half an hour just to buy a smartpac bag, and this is not the first time. I would be greatly appreciated if you can consider a self checkout payment counter similar to the supermarket self checkout type. Thank you for reading.

Did you know that most post offices in Singapore close by 5pm or 7pm? Fortunately we were able to visit this branch which closes at 8pm on weekdays. The procedure to send a parcel overseas is extremely complicated and user unfriendly. After getting a queue number, you need to select your own postal box and sealing tape from the shelf, then proceed to the counter when your number is called to get the official measurements of your parcel noted. Then you need to go online to create a shipment order with the aforementioned data. The system required a breakdown of weight and price and country of production for each item. That's crazy! Postal staff assured us that only the totals need to be recorded. Then with shipment order in hand, queue at another counter to check the order and make payment before the parcel is handed over to the staff. Wow! Fortunately we had the pleasure of meeting Ms Zainab who patiently explained each step of the process and helped us to submit our order before closing time. She was polite, helpful and extremely patient explaining the complicated process with simple instructions. Kudos to this wonderful frontline staff!

Such a convenient place to pick up passport. Look out for Exit 3 from NS Line 22 Orchard Station. Look for signage B2 for post office, turn right and walk along the jewellery shops. I sent parcel ti the so called Zone 3, with very high rates. The lady with big eyeliner at the counter never showed me the parcel rates. Only after I sent and paid, at the next day when I requested, she showed me all the rates. Only then I found out that I could add 600gr more for the same price! So wasteful and careless about customers money! When I told her off, even she knows she was at fault she tried to defend herself with “what can I do”. You could at least let me know I have more than half a kilo more to add to the parcel!! Rates aren’t cheap! Very poor customer service. Train your employees! Do better!!
