All Japanese chef restaurants, some are even good looking :) a contemporary atmosphere served with authentic Japanese menu. Super fresh ingredients and perfect match of dishes to satisfy your palette. We even eat every bite of the decorative flowers and vegetables, it was so fresh! Uni was thick, chunky, creamy and fresh Toro was fatty and soft Kinki fish - learned from the chef that’s a Hokkaido local deep sea fish. Super buttery! We top up with a Uni Toro hand roll with sea salt, it was an explosive palette satisfaction. $68/78 per piece.

An absolutely unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was flawless, attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every dish was plated like a work of art and tasted even better than it looked. The flavors were bold yet perfectly balanced, and the wine pairings elevated the entire meal. The ambiance was refined and intimate, with just the right lighting and music to make the evening feel special. Even the smallest details from the warm bread service to the final petits fours showed incredible thought and care. This is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry. Worth every dollar and every moment. I’ll be returning for the next special occasion without a doubt.

Was here for Valentine's day dinner, and very glad we did. For the price point paid, vis-a-vis many other omakase places in Singapore, it's very well worth the value. Couple that with the prime location of being at Orchard Takashimaya, it's a very balanced overall luxury dining experience. The quality of the ingredients used throughout the entire omakase menu was good. Fresh fish, fresh japanese crabs, and good seasonal picks (e.g. shirako). The performance they put up in showing you what you're eating (the wagyu, the crabs, the donabe, etc), is very thoughtfully pieced together. What I really liked about the overall experience was how conscientious the entire set up was, from first entering the bar / sitting area, to entering the bar counters, being greeted by everyone, all through to when you leave the restaurant. If you are able to notice the little details that they've curated (including the 2000 SGD glassware that's on sale), and you care enough about the craftsmanship, then you'd likely also enjoy what is presented to you. P.s. their sister brand is actually Sushi Masaaki at South Beach.

We made a last minute reservation for dinner and the restaurant was kind enough to accommodate us. As part of their service, they would show us the raw ingredients and they also offered to turn the rice into onigiri for us to take home. As we were seated at the counter, we could see the chefs prepare the food and we added on a special Ala carte crab item. We enjoyed the food throughly and would come back.

It’s a new Kappo cuisine located beside Crystal Jade. When you reach, you are ushered to a holding area before going into the main seating. Food: 3.5⭐️ Service: 4⭐️ I give the good 3.5 as the arrangement of the food order might not be my personal liking. The tempura, on itself is nice, but I find it very filling and a bit abrupt in the taste. After which, the main dish is up and I am already full. Service is definitely good, except the chef are not as engaging but certainly did try.

Absolutely enjoyed my omakase lunch here. Food presentation and taste were so good ....service was also very detailed and personal. Only thing is they forgot about the prawn allergy which we have have reminded.

My best kaiseki experience in Singapore. Every course was a visual and culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented with incredible attention to detail. The Donabe was full of umami, and I loved how the remaining rice was transformed into delicate onigiri to take home; the aroma and flavor lingered even after a few hours! A truly memorable meal from start to finish. Can’t wait to return

One of the best omakase in Singapore, food was amazing and well prepared and over expectations! Presentation was amazing really like it here! I’m very happy with the first crab dish, well presented on a huge leave and the flavour was magnificent!

Had a great time trying the omakase, everything was really well put together, and you can tell a lot of care went into each dish. The flow of the meal was smooth, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation was lovely. If I had to nitpick, the cooked fish in both the chawanmushi and yakimono was a little on the firm side for my taste. But overall, it was a really enjoyable experience.

We had the private room which I highly recommend booking for groups larger than two. It was a great experience and the food was fresh and courses well thought out and executed. The chefs also came to the table to showcase a few ingredients and check on how we were finding things. The service here was also very good which I do appreciate.
