Lovely service staff. Very attentive and patient even when I was undecided on what to get. Pastries are very affordable despite being in the heart of Orchard road. The Matcha Swiss roll had a fragrant Houjicha aroma with a slightly bitter tea jelly in the middle. Love that it wasn’t too sweet. Will definitely like to try their other flavours. The mini cream puff was so good. Bursting with cream. I got the Hokkaido milk flavour and it was thick, luscious and smooth yet not cloyingly sweet. I waited quite a while before I had it, so the crust was soft. But it still tasted delicious. I did wish the choux puff was less sweet though. But still it’s a pleasure bomb in every sense of the word!!

A fresh take on the polo bao. We got the original ($3) and a Hokkaido cream bao ($3.5) and enjoyed both. As a pleasant twist, the texture reminded me more of a croissant than bread. I wouldn't have minded a thicker crust top, but my wife enjoyed the voluminous Hokkaido cream. We will certainly try it again and next time will throw in the lava polo bao.

Chanced upon this place, saw that they were having pistachio so decided to check it out. Started off with the cream puff @ $2.60. Enjoyed it! Then decided to go for the kazu kazu after a walk around the mall, can choose 2 flavours - loved it. Cream is not overly sweet but sufficiently creamy & the outer puff was crunchy. Both combined was delicious! Would definitely come back.

Been visiting Angus House Jakarta for many years, this Singapore restaurant consistently similar, from service, food quality, taste and even the ambiance.

Tucked into the hamburger steak, ‘cause when you don’t feel like working your jaws, minced beef is the 𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 comfort food!

Really really delicious steak that was served on a hot plate; juicy, tender and oh so yummy, the taste and texture were both at its best. It was oozing with juice and perfectly cooked, served with equally impeccable sides by very polite and friendly wait staff. Soup was amazing too, bread served was unforgettable, escargots were so tasty and there was a nice view too as I was given a window seat. Salad was fresh and cake to top off the meal was good. No complains and will definitely be back!

Food was ok. I would say it’s more like a “textbook” or “recipe” book cooking style which was very safe, nothing will go wrong, date not to be creative and go without own style kind of cooking and taste. Ambience of the restaurant gave me the vibes from Jack’s place with mixed of Denny’s/checkers restaurant. Staffs are friendly. But why i gave only 3 stars, it’s simply due to overpriced charged for the cooking explained above.

Went for lunch. Waitress didn't give the lunch menu spontaneously. Had to ask specifically for it! Gave only the main menu. Ordered the foie gras beef bowl. Topped up $15 for soup, salad and dessert. Quite good.

Ribeye 200g medium rare, pan seared foie gras, shitake and truffle wedges. Great view overseeing paragon, located in the heart of orchard, has that old japanese western feel, calm and inviting with great service. Recommend

A regular customer of this restaurant over the years. Service and food has always been consistent and great. Love the steaks and grilled lamb here. Also highly recommend the seasonal oysters.
