Last option to go if there isn’t any as usually manned by foreigners that don’t care what variant of coffees u ordered and your coffee will always be black. They will also charged u the most expensive cup without asking u if u would prefer a large cup. You asked them and they will talk back to you. Making it your fault for not telling them you want a small cup. Good luck to the owner as this regular joint has now dropped to last option since they hand over to foreigners workers to run it like a factory canteen. Rude and bad expensive coffees.

Heavenly Wang is my go to place for coffee and toast in town (Killiney Kopitiam is the other) because of its crispy toasts and generous amount of kaya and butter. Their coffee also packs a good punch. Eggs could have been better seasoned - I suppose you are no longer allowed to season your own eggs due to covid. Three stars instead of four as the service was absolutely dismal. Tables were not cleared and cashier straight up ignores you when you are standing right in front of her. She takes her time to touch things here and there before taking your order. I tried to clear my plates after eating as other customers were waiting for a table but the counter was stacked to the brim - they were not even helping themselves. I ended up leaving the dishes on the table.

Sweetness of Kopi taste ok. Teh C taste super sweet. Toast is ok. Look at amount of leftovers. It used to be good but standard has drop so much. Don't think will return again.

Big kudos 👍🏻 to the male service staff handling orders and making beverages and eggs on a busy Saturday evening. He still remain polite and courteous despite the constant queue. Got the banana muffin to go, only SGD1.50 such a steal! And the staff made sure it was placed right side up, something that even some big cafe chains will neglect. Thank you!

Terrible service. Ordered toast set. Eggs took half hour to prepare. Not even 20 percent cook. Waiter cannot cope. Bad service.

They recently came up with mains that are tasty and value for money. Got the limited Lemak Chicken rice and they didn’t disappoint at all. Tender and easy to pull for the huge chicken, and the other incredients also complimented the meal well. Was really surprised! The usual order of ice yuan yang is huge and always a treat. The only gripe is that there are only seating for twos for now. Can’t la kopi with my friends here anymore.

Ordered 2 sets of Prata with chicken curry. Very generous amount of chicken and the curry was thick and a good amount of spiciness. The chicken was very tender, came off easily from its bone. The prata was crispy and buttery. Would order again!

This place has that kind of old school feeling but is quite nice…. Unfortunately the staff on duty was quite impatient, probably due to volume of order and work stress… I ordered a Teh C less sugar but ended up with one that was so sweet :-( Seats are not really comfortable & whole place could be quite noisy so not an ideal place for private chat but more like for a quick bite and a cup of coffee or tea 🤓

Encountered a RUDE staff named ANGELA TAY at the taka restaurant. - Did not ask what drinks I wanted - Mumbled something unclear and when i clarified she replied rudely "ADD 60 CENTS" - Slammed the cash register loudly

KFC taste is good in singapore. quantity is good. Rice bucket is good option. but you can not eat full alone.
