The drinks are nice but the service is very bad. Dont bother coming in here. If you want a nice relaxing time without getting stared at. Owner does not like a lively crowded environment. So dont come here to chat. The owner said we sit for half a day? We are there from about 2.30-45pm. To about 4.30/5pm latest. So about 2 hours at max. (Half a day is 12 hour). He also said the boy occupied 4 seats. Yes that is his fault and he already moved his things to just 1 table after you told him. The shop was not even full and you proceeded to scold him again. This was uncalled for. We do try to support your business by ordering a few more things. It is a cafe for us to chat. Also not a library where we have to lower down our volume. We have been to your place for a good 1-2 years but we have found other place that appreciates the business more. Thank you.

Frequently come here for food. The staff are friendly and the ambience and music is relaxing. Will recommend: - Tea/coffee - Honey Grass Jelly - All the toasts, freshly done 👍 - Mee Siam, Curry Chicken, Laksa Yong Tau Foo

Please go somewhere else if you are not prepared to be soft spoken and gentle when you chat with your friend. As speaking at an audible volume that exceeds the store's volume tolerance is greatly frowned upon and you run the risk of been confronted and be given the marching order. I would greatly suggest, for a signage to be put up at the store front to perhaps alert customers not to be rowdy, better still, not to be speaking at all. As it can be very confusing for patrons that is under the impression that a coffee place is to be rowdy and lively. Apparently not in this case. And also, you can stipulate the dining timing so as not to let, Us, paying customers of yours, to inconvenient the potential of catching the next customers that strut pass your very quiet store. It is apparent in this competitive f&b market, your store does not need our business and we will grant you your wish and take it to somewhere else. Please don't even bother to reply my review as your aggressive stand to loudly confront us has shown how horrible your customer service is. You could have control your tone and tell us nicely but you choose not to. There you go, finally a quiet store with no customers allowed to stay more than your version of half a day long!

I've bad experience eating here. I bought a cup of coffe and just wanted to take picture of the coffee but the store manager dones not allow me to do so. I tried to explain that I am taking coffee picture and not taking a person's picture, but repeatedly being told cannot take picture. There are better food stalls opposite this shop which I ended up eating.

I order the plain rice rolls and Shui Mai. The Shui Mai meats tasted like meat paste without any pork texture or taste. The rice roll was small and didn’t like the sauce. The cashier wasn’t the most friendly or helpful to a tourist. Maybe I should have eat the safe toast and coffee combo.

The Fun Meal I had this afternoon was very toothsome! The must-try BBQ Prawn with Rice (SGD8.90) and signature Yuan Yang (SGD2.20) were good-sized and prepared to my taste🎯🎯 Succulent prawns with long beans, eggplant, lady's fingers and onion in a tangy tamarind (aka assam) sauce were well-flavored, marinated and cooked. Excellent medley of sour, sweet and savoury flavors coming together harmoniously. Piquant and nummy😋😋 Yuan Yang, as always, was fragrant, thick and had the perfect ratio of tea-coffee-milk and sweetness👍💪 Fun Toast @Orchardgateway has a variety of food & beverage choices at pocket-friendly prices and a clean, ample space. Direct access to/from Somerset MRT Station and nearby office buildings via the underpass makes it a convenient spot for take-out, casual meal, social meet-up, pit stop to rest tired feet or after-work chillax.

Service really sucks. We stood there for five minutes, and neither the Chinese lady preparing the drinks nor the Malay lady acknowledged us or took our order. If they were busy, they could at least have told us to wait, but instead they just continued doing their own things without saying anything. Kindly train their service properly. 👎🏼

I have never tried curry chicken with Chee Cheong fun which I thought was so innovative, so I decided to have it for my late lunch. It was amazingly Yummy! The portion was huge with 4 pieces of chicken wings and half a big potato, some long beans, and a big serving of Chee Cheong fun! It was fragrant and so appetising ’ I ended it with a cup of Kopi-C and the meal just perfect! Oh the service was fast, staff was polite and the ambience was great! I’ll be back! So conveniently located near Somerset mrt!

Do not go here if you use cash, they don’t have change for $1,000. The price was $600 and we gave $1,000, they did not accepted the money because they said that they don’t have change. They wanted exact amount. Do not go here.
