I always bought their 17cm strawberry cake for most birthday celebrations from other outlets. It was soft and fluffy without fail. This was the first time I bought a 20cm strawberry cake from this outlet at Shaw House. It tasted awful, hard and non fluffy. Seems like those that was kept for a week or so, extremely not fresh. So disappointing! Will not buy any cake from them anymore.

At 7:30, I was informed that cash payments were no longer accepted, yet there was no prior notice or signage indicating this policy. Furthermore, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and very disappointing.

Kaya butter toast was rather lacklustre. The toast was stale, and the kaya butter was disappointingly sparse and thin. Overall an underwhelming experience. Have been a regular having meal here and usually their food and drinks are edible. Had a meal today and the hard boiled egg was cold and not even hot, coupled with bread which was not even hot. I mean usually I’m ok with these but there were not many patrons and first you got the order wrong, and you gave me a subpar replacement. This got me so affected that I have to post online to warn others about this. I just wanted a simple meal, at least a hot meal. Anyway do not recommend this place and I am also not going back. You just lost one customer long term.

Really good stop for tourists to experience local coffee culture. They really leaned into the Singapore culture and displayed on their cup in a quirky way. If you haven’t figured out how to order coffee yet, just look at the large display on the wall. Copi C kosong please! The red cane juice is basically sugar water. Not very shiok.

Went in for breakfast earlier today and, unfortunately, encountered some issues with my order. The team was unable to communicate the lapses clearly or with empathy, which left me both frustrated and disappointed. Prices aren’t exactly affordable either, so overall, I wouldn’t encourage or recommend this place to anyone. Very very dissapointed.

Regrettably, the outing was an exercise in unmet potential. The establishment’s concept promises “fun,” yet the ambiance falls flat—bereft of warmth or character, leaving one feeling more like a hurried passerby than a welcomed guest. The service, while polite, lacked the attentiveness and engagement befitting a venue aspiring to delight discerning palates. Regrettably, the culinary offerings did little to redeem the experience. The toast, a seemingly simple canvas, failed to achieve the necessary balance between texture and flavor. Instead of the anticipated harmonious blend of crispness and buttery richness, the bites were uneven, bordering on uninspired. In sum, Fun Toast presents an opportunity for growth. With refinement in execution and a genuine embrace of hospitality, it might yet evolve beyond its current mediocrity. For now, however, it remains a forgettable footnote in Orchard’s vibrant dining scene. ENOUGH WITH THIS TOMFOOLERY!

Came with a few office colleagues to have lunch. The varieties are wide & price very reasonable. The lunch bundle promo for 2 sets at $16.50 is value for money. The food were served hot & staff are friendly & helpful. A great place for lunch especially for those who want to combine meal & drinks at one-stop.
