Enjoy their food always. The curry is thick and tasty. Chicken is juicy and yummy. Beef satay taste good though a little tough. Worth mentioned is the salad refreshing and unique. Overall nice place to dine in. 🤗

Located in the basement of the Paragon in Orchard Road, this eatery strives to serve "colonial style" food. Unfortunately, our food was too salty, which made for an underwhelming dining experience. I don't know if this is a one off occurrence, but seeing that I seldom go to that part of town, I honestly don't know when I will try this place again.

3.5 stars for food quality. Food quality: Delectable selection of local cuisine, good to bring tourists and friends visiting from overseas. Most food taste average or so only. Food portion / Price: Portions are reasonable for sharing. Prices are high as expected for restaurants and located in heart of orchard. Service: Fast and attentive. Crowd: Expect a queue especially during meal times. Suggest go early or have late meals! Payment: Cards accepted.

Food tastes OK, though a tad expensive (as in, you can get similar dishes at other restaurants for cheaper). Some of the menu items, especially the dessert are pretty creative though! The presentation of the dishes are quite instagrammable. Generally, I would recommend if you want to have a cool place to hang out with family/ friends.

Nonya laksa was one of the best laksas I’ve had in my life. Portion was generous and what surprised me was the chicken which tasted like those you can get in Hainanese chicken rice. Will try the nasi lemak in future.

Passed by many times but always chose to go to other restaurants. Despite its unassuming store front, the menu selection is wide, and the food is pretty delicious! We had a big group, so we were able to sample quite a number of dishes including the kway teow, laksa, chicken rice, nasi lemak, and colonial platter. I'd personally rate them in that order. Also tried the drinks, including the Hainanese tea which was an interesting blend of kopi, teh, and Milo. The waitresses were all very accommodating and served us with smiles. Happily assisted us in snapping group photos, too. Much appreciated!

Mouthwatering 3-tier set lunch with a cup of coffee & coconut - red bean drink plus blue pea rice to share with 2 pax at $60+ total bill take us to give 4.8/5 for this meal. Will definitely try other dishes soon.

This place can get pretty crowded & be prepared to q from 15-30mins for a table especially on a weekend. Mon to Thursday they do take on line reservations.. We enjoy most of the dishes and everything was great Just my question would be if I need to scan a QR code for menu and order .. why is there a need to change 10% service? This place though is nice but the thought of getting to q that Long will really make me reconsider next time.

Very English feel but serve Asian favorites like Nasi Lemak, Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice. I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews before I dined here, because I may not have dine here if I have read some of the reviews. That said, we dined here because it was the only restaurant without a queue at 12:30pm and we decided to give it a try. But a queue started to form from 1pm onwards. We ordered the Signature platter which consists of Kueh Pie Tee, Ngor Hiang, Satay and Chicken Wings; a seafood laksa, Teh C and Cendol. The food are freshly made and have a traditional taste to it (古早味) plus the satay and chicken are juicy and fresh. But don’t expect it to be heavily marinated. The Teh C is authentic Penang style with foam on top and is rather fragrant. The Cendol was not what I was looking for, but I’m sure it might be a pleasant to someone else with a different taste bud from mine. Reasonably priced as we are dining in Orchard. We can’t expect to pay hawker price when dining in town do we?
