Smoochie Creamery brings artisanal ice cream and dessert offerings to Far East Plaza, serving customers seeking premium frozen treats beyond mainstream chains and standard food court options. The specialty ice cream sector has expanded significantly as consumers demonstrate willingness to pay premium prices for superior ingredients, creative flavors, and artisanal preparation methods that distinguish craft ice cream from mass-produced alternatives.
Specialty ice cream establishments typically emphasize factors including high butterfat content for creamy texture, quality ingredients like real vanilla and fresh fruits rather than artificial flavoring, creative flavor combinations moving beyond standard offerings, and small-batch production methods ensuring freshness. Some shops make ice cream on-premise while others source from specialized producers. The category has benefited from social media's visual nature, with photogenic presentations and unique flavors generating organic marketing through customer posts.
Smoochie Creamery operates during hours accommodating afternoon snacking, post-dinner dessert seekers, and evening crowds. Ice cream shops in shopping complexes serve multiple customer segments including families with children, dating couples, and friend groups seeking casual hangout destinations. Pricing reflects the premium positioning, with specialty ice cream commanding higher prices than standard options while remaining accessible for occasional indulgences. The establishment's location in Far East Plaza provides foot traffic from shoppers and diners seeking dessert options after meals at the building's numerous restaurants.
The initial looks of the waffles looked great but unfortunately the taste of the waffles weren’t good. The batter consistency was not runny, and just looked like it was an ice cream as well LOL. They’re mushy and don’t have taste at all. It’s the first time we couldn’t finish a plate of waffles unfortunately 😮💨 But the ice creams were good, can just come here for ice cream. Staff were friendly as well

Had the mint and choc ice cream at the shop. They were good. Bought a pint of each home and was dissappointed. The mint ice cream didnt have any taste of mint and tasted so different. Choc bits wasnt chocolaty.
In addition the tub of pint is smaller than other creamery plus it was only filled up to 3/4 of the tub. I felt short changed.

Not the first time here already, their waffles is really good, crispy and nice, super match with the ice cream!
They have a lot of flavour so sometime i have a hard time choosing too! Love that they also provide water for the customers!

Couldn’t miss this ice cream parlour coming out from the carpark and towards Yanji fish soup. Interesting flavour selection, we ordered hazelnut and Hokkaido milk, good texture and flavour. I like that they separated the syrup without the need to ask them. Very cute parlour to hang out for waffle time. the flavour labels deserve a little more thought than make shift handwritten slips with everything else looking so thematic 😌

I had read about the waffles so I went there to try but was disappointed that the taste was rather bland. The ice cream was good though so that was the saving grace.
Also, not sure why it cost $14 with the 2 ice cream scoops cos the price shown was $12 but I assumed that maybe the ice cream I chose were "premium" flavours though I don't recall ordering anything particularly exotic nor do I recall the ice cream being labelled differently (unlike say at Udders where I think they have connoisseur, premium, regular).

Tried the Lavender Honey, and it was really good! The server packed as much as she could into that tiny cup and felt it was quite worth the sweet treat. Haven't tried the waffles yet, but I heard it's good too. The shop is tucked in a tiny corner inside Far East Plaza. Ice cream aside, the workers in the shop can be a little more smiley? They look a little scary when they dont smile, and i was hesitant to go in😅
