Taste of the bara chirashi is decent, but the only fish in it was only salmon, and $11.80 is a little expensive.

$9.90 bara chirashi! Plus they are on Favepay so you get 10% cashback which can be used across all Food Republic outlets... Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Chef was also nice and friendly. Place was spacious. They also offer a wide variety of bentos, dons and sushi. Food quality wise, nothing fascinating but decent enough for a quick lunch at this price point. The wide variety of bento (only $6.90!!) also looks good, might want to try that in the future. Place was air conditioned but situated beside Pepper Lunch which can be quite strong in smell. And I did catch a few small flies flying around... Nothing too disruptive.

Stall opens in Christmas and I had a perfect Christmas lunch here, using the free flow wasabi to make a Christmas tree. Holy lunch. Bento cheap and nice. Always my staple meal in a fast paced orchard road. A place to eat in solace and rant.

Nicely tucked away in a private corner of Food Republic at Manulife Centre. Is a TOP quality Japanese Cuisine stall with low prices! Food court pricing with restaurant quality food! Throughout the day, they have Bento sets most priced at just $6.90! (Bento consist of 2 kinds of meat, rice, fruit and soup.) Chirashi-Tei has a restaurant level variety on their menus. From Sushi, Gourmet sushi, Bentos, Curry Katsu Rice, Udon/Ramen, etc. For extra $1, you also get a glass of Green Tea. Today, I tried to be a difficult customer and threw them a curve ball! 😜 I told the chef I didn't like the Bento sets as they were either 1 meat, 1 fish or 2 meat. The chef very cheerfully told me, "You can choose any combination! I'll arrange it for you!". I order a Bento set consisting of a slice of Salmon and a slice of Saba for the same price of $6.90!! Who gets 2 kinds of fish in a Bento at such cheap prices? 😋 Super happy! Awesome! 👏👏👏👏 Location: Take the Downtown Line to Bencoolen stn (DT21) exit B. Across the street, into Food Republic and turn left and walk towards the end. Service: 😊😊😊😊/5 Food quality: 😋😋😋😋😋/5 Price: 💰/5 Ambience: 👍 👍 👍 /5

Took some time to locate in the basement of paragon mall, but all in all would say it was just about worthwhile. My signature nasi lemak was delicious and the softshell crab laksa was I’m told tasty of slightly odd tasting. Service was atypical for Singapore but more helpful than some places. What a shame. On so many levels. Firstly, we regret that we only discovered the wonderful classic Hainanese legacy soulfood food & beverage offerings at Colonial Club Signatures too late. They've been around for 6 years at Paragon and we had no idea as we realised we've not been there for nearly a year. I mean the food as we wonderfully acknowledge, tucking happily satiated and impressed, is not only good but truly authentic. When you name your eatery Colonial Club Signatures I had high expectation. Especially when it passed the truth test of the humble basic chicken rice they offer. Suffice to say my daughter ordered another bowl to go with her classic Hainanese Chicken Rice set. And she — being a digital gen not fully clued in on the colonial era which they abhor — love the food too. For us, who looked for halal options of food we previously could not eat, it is not just a treat and delight but a discovery of flavours not necessarily second nature to us and our staple diet. The other frustration and regret is that just as we were planning to add Colonial Club Signatures to our family's goto list in the heart of Orchard Road the friendly man who was at the till shared that they are due to vacate by the end of the first week of next month in November. He explained that someone else is taking over the hidden gem spot. We suspect part of it is cost as rent hike is not uncommon. Nor is the aggressive bidding some would. Truly what a shame. Such a quiet degustation halal Hainanese soulfood treasure and we really hope it will pop up somewhere else in Singapore. So please support them to the end. Not that they are not filling tables - it was fully patronised - but we're about to lose a good one.

Came here specifically for the milk tea affogato. Very unique. 2 scoops of milk tea ice cream, with corn flakes in between & served with kopi (coffee). Spent a few hours here chilling & doing some reading in the afternoon. Quiet, clean environment.

This is a very conveniently located restaurant. Seven of us came here for lunch, and ordered a variety of dishes. We were disappointed that a few of the classic nonya dishes were not available, including the chicken buah kuluak. The signature Nasi lemak with otak and beef rendang was delicious. The laksa, chicken rice, cendol and coconut milkshake were "average". There seemed to be a lack of richness in many of the dishes. Generally the service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. For a Sunday lunch, we were glad that it was not overcrowded.

Decor is really pretty, and food plating made them look delicious. Taste wise pretty normal, the Nasi Lemak Tower is quite good, Chicken Rice was average, Hainanese Chicken Cutlet was so-so; no special flavours. Overall nice restaurant to have upscale dining of local delights but don't expect any magic here.
