Ordered via 2 machines. Instructions on it not very clear so this can be improved. Love the breakfast but if u choose the option to have carrot cake vs chee cheong fun, the serving of the carrot cake is miserable.

Food was not bad but a bit on the expensive side. Ordering is done on the kiosk. Unfortunately we lucked out and the kiosk system hung, so we had to do our ordering again (luckily, they had 2 kiosks). The soya sauce chicken was flavourful, but the other components are just bang average. Only one small piece of limp vegetable accompanied the chicken rice. The fish congee had the thinnest slice of fish I had ever seen.

No-frills Hong Kong cafe selling staple HK fare such as roasted meat rice, dim sum and other HK casual fare. Food is pretty acceptable at a decent price, a little higher than food court prices. Have to self-order from the kiosk and queue can be quite long

The Hong Kong food is so-so only, not very authentic. Many better ones out there. I like their bun with condensed milk and their 菠萝包… their other main dishes are really not v good. The wanton mee is uninspiring and the fried rice with chicken chop is too soft and not tasty. Chicken chop was ok. Drinks are so so too. Forgettable meal. Just go for their buns, breads. Those are not bad

So Good Char Chan Tang offers a taste of authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine right here in Singapore. Their menu boasts a wide array of classic dishes, from the comforting Hong Kong-style Milk Tea to the savory Roasted Pork Belly with Noodles. Food: * Highlights: The Roasted Pork Belly is a standout, with crispy skin and tender meat. The Hong Kong-style Milk Tea is a nostalgic treat, perfectly balanced with a rich, creamy flavor. The Crispy Bun with Butter and Condensed Milk is a delightful dessert, offering a satisfyingly crunchy exterior and a sweet, indulgent filling. * Room for Improvement: While the food is generally good, there's occasional inconsistency in flavor and portion size. Service: Unfortunately, the service can be a bit of a letdown. Staff can sometimes be rushed or inattentive, leading to long wait times and forgotten orders. A more attentive and customer-oriented approach would significantly enhance the dining experience. Overall: Despite the service hiccups, So Good Char Chan Tang remains a viable option for those craving authentic Hong Kong-style fare. The food, when it's good, is truly enjoyable. However, the inconsistent service experience may deter some diners. Tips: * Peak Hours: Be prepared for longer wait times during peak hours. * Order Ahead: Consider ordering ahead to minimize wait times. * Be Patient: Approach your dining experience with patience and understanding. Ultimately, So Good Char Chan Tang has the potential to be a top-notch Hong Kong-style eatery. With improved service and consistent food quality, it could truly live up to its name.

Sister restaurant of a 2 Michelin star restaurant from Kanazawa. Tableware and almost all the ingredients are flown in from Kanazawa. One of the best Japanese restaurant we have been to in Singapore. Easy to see the attention paid to every detail in the preparation of the food. Staff are also amazing.

Had a good lunch at So Good Char Chan Teng, Somerset branch. Have tried their food at other branches and always taste good. The curry beef brisket is delicious and can be better if the food was served a little warmer. Their tea is also strong and fragrant. Dining environment is compact and not comfortable. Prices are reasonable. But waiting staff not friendly. I will frequent their Tanjong Pagar outlet next time.

Food was delicious, fresh and carefully crafted. Service was stellar, thanks to Daniella and Wan, and not forgetting Chef Shin for his effort in making the occasion a success, and also coming out to greet the guests! Thanks for making our wedding anniversary a memorable one with the matcha cheesecake and a personalized note.

Best Kaiseki ever...Chef Shin understands that good food means using the natural taste of the ingredients. Dishes should not be overpowered with salt, pepper and other spices.

First time dining here & unsure what to expect, got the $288 dinner menu instead of the full $388 course. It was a good choice — the pacing was smooth, the dishes refined & the experience felt well-balanced without being overwhelming. Counter seating offered the best view of the chef’s precise preparations & thoughtful explanations. With exquisite tableware & attentive service, it was a memorable fine-dining experience.
