Zeniya Singapore at Shaw Centre represents a remarkable culinary achievement as the only international outpost of the two-Michelin-starred Zeniya in Kanazawa, Japan. Located at #01-11 Scotts Road, this prestigious kaiseki restaurant is helmed by Chef Shinichiro Takagi and operates in collaboration with the esteemed Les Amis Group, bringing authentic Japanese haute cuisine to the heart of Orchard Road.
Unlike typical sushi omakase establishments, Zeniya specialises in kaiseki—the refined art of multi-course Japanese dining that showcases seasonal ingredients and meticulous preparation. Each course is prepared and served with exceptional finesse, creating a dining experience that food critics have described as "Michelin-worthy." The restaurant has earned a 4.5 out of 5 overall rating for its taste, value, and execution.
The dining experience at Zeniya is designed to be unhurried and immersive, with meals that can extend to two hours. Diners are enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere that feels removed from the bustling Orchard Road outside. What sets Zeniya apart is its commitment to authenticity—everything is crafted using seasonal produce flown in directly from Kanazawa, and the restaurant even uses specially engineered water that replicates the spring water of Kanazawa to ensure the most authentic flavours possible.
Kaiseki-style menus start from $188++ and are available Tuesday through Sunday, with lunch service from 12pm to 3pm and dinner from 6:30pm to 11pm. While prices sit on the higher spectrum, the experience delivers exceptional value for those seeking an authentic taste of Michelin-starred Japanese cuisine in Singapore.

First time dining here & unsure what to expect, got the $288 dinner menu instead of the full $388 course. It was a good choice — the pacing was smooth, the dishes refined & the experience felt well-balanced without being overwhelming. Counter seating offered the best view of the chef’s precise preparations & thoughtful explanations. With exquisite tableware & attentive service, it was a memorable fine-dining experience.

Sister restaurant of a 2 Michelin star restaurant from Kanazawa. Tableware and almost all the ingredients are flown in from Kanazawa. One of the best Japanese restaurant we have been to in Singapore. Easy to see the attention paid to every detail in the preparation of the food. Staff are also amazing.

Best Kaiseki ever...Chef Shin understands that good food means using the natural taste of the ingredients. Dishes should not be overpowered with salt, pepper and other spices.

👨🏻🍳 Chef Shin himself, bringing Kanazawa’s autumn flavors to Singapore. 🍁
From botan ebi and abalone… to wagyu with matsutake… to Ise-ebi lobster.
Every course tells the story of autumn in Japan.

The food here is amazing, worth every dollar. Ingredients are as fresh as they can be and each dish is a hit. Been here twice in two months and it’s not uncommon to meet many repeat customers. 11/10 😊
