First time dining here & unsure what to expect, got the $288 dinner menu instead of the full $388 course. It was a good choice — the pacing was smooth, the dishes refined & the experience felt well-balanced without being overwhelming. Counter seating offered the best view of the chef’s precise preparations & thoughtful explanations. With exquisite tableware & attentive service, it was a memorable fine-dining experience.

Sister restaurant of a 2 Michelin star restaurant from Kanazawa. Tableware and almost all the ingredients are flown in from Kanazawa. One of the best Japanese restaurant we have been to in Singapore. Easy to see the attention paid to every detail in the preparation of the food. Staff are also amazing.

Best Kaiseki ever...Chef Shin understands that good food means using the natural taste of the ingredients. Dishes should not be overpowered with salt, pepper and other spices.

👨🏻‍🍳 Chef Shin himself, bringing Kanazawa’s autumn flavors to Singapore. 🍁 From botan ebi and abalone… to wagyu with matsutake… to Ise-ebi lobster. Every course tells the story of autumn in Japan.

The food here is amazing, worth every dollar. Ingredients are as fresh as they can be and each dish is a hit. Been here twice in two months and it’s not uncommon to meet many repeat customers. 11/10 😊

Food was delicious, fresh and carefully crafted. Service was stellar, thanks to Daniella and Wan, and not forgetting Chef Shin for his effort in making the occasion a success, and also coming out to greet the guests! Thanks for making our wedding anniversary a memorable one with the matcha cheesecake and a personalized note.

Excellent taste ! Love the Wanmori soup and its tasty zest mixed with yuzu ! Next the A5 Wagyu shabu shabu , tender and juicy . The oukado cold somen was my favorite . The noodles thickness was so thin and chewy . They were also kind enough to switch the salmon out with truffle and mushroom on rice .. the umami was perrrfffect !! Definitely would come by again ! Dessert - warabi mochi was warm and baked on the outside . Best and unforgettable taste of warmness …..🥰🥰🥰 thank you Chef Shuji !

Two Michelin Star Restaurant from Kanazawa serving Kaiseki. The restaurant is located at the highest level of Shangri-La Singapore. Visited this newest Kaiseki spot with my partner. Food was amazing and service was excellent. The staff even noticed that I was a left-hander and kindly offered to change my table setting for me for a better dining experience. Ingredients used in each dish was extremely fresh and it was such an experience to see the chef preparing some of them at the counter. My personal favourite was the Uni Soba and the Hamo Wanmori. Looks simple but the flavours were balanced and delicate. While we didn’t have alcohol, we ordered the tea which was very fragrant which we were told that they serve the same tea in Zeniya Kanazawa too! We enjoyed our dining experience here and would love to visit again!

What a special place. The attentiveness from the reservation through to the actual dining experience was amazing. To our dinner, perfection. This was our first Kaiseki experience in Singapore and it equaled our others in Kyoto and Tokyo. Watching each dish being prepared so precisely and each of the ingredients explained made this such a memorable evening. Thank you!
