TripleOne Somerset’s So Good Café is one of their smallest yet most charming Hong Kong–style cafés. Despite its compact space, it’s always bustling with diners craving authentic HK comfort food. The adjoining bakery adds to the charm — filling the café with that irresistible buttery aroma that makes every visit extra comforting. It’s the perfect spot for a tea break or a simple lunch, though fair warning — you might walk out smelling like a croissant yourself! 😅
I’ve been here countless times, and my all-time favourite remains the fried rice with black pepper chicken chop, complete with egg and sausage — fragrant, satisfying, and full of that signature wok hei. The toasted baguette drizzled with condensed milk is another must-try, ideal for an afternoon snack. Their HK noodles also impress with their springy texture and rich flavour, pairing beautifully with the roasted meats and steamed chicken.
If you’re after a classic HK café experience, the ABC meals are worth a try — a comforting combo of macaroni with ham soup, sandwiches with eggs, and a drink.
While service has had its ups and downs in the past, the consistently good food and nostalgic HK café vibes keep me coming back. Overall, a cosy little gem at Somerset that continues to deliver honest, satisfying fare every visit.

Frills free char chan tang. Order on the dashboard, get seated and pick up your order when your table buzzer sounds. Taste is good especially the duck. Price is reasonable. Everything is self service including clearing your tray as there’s no service charge.

Probably one of the best Char Chan Tang in the Somerset area, quite a good spread of mains and set meals. Their Bolo Bun with Butter and Milk Tea is highly recommended.
Do try to be there early as they may be some wait time during peak hours.
