It feels like not many people have stopped by this location, my friends and I just found out when we were already in Singapore and planned to sight seeing at ION Orchard like other tourists. One of the websites informs that there is a free spot where you can enjoy the view of Singapore from the 55th floor! There is not much to see, but it is not bad to train me who is a bit of a phobia of heights and can take pictures of the city of Singapore with tall buildings and interesting architecture. It seems to be more interesting if visited at sunset (there is a side facing the harbour). Oh yeah there is a fancy restaurant too, maybe some of you wanna try to spend there 🤩

Truly amazing view of Singapore from the 56th floor! Would love to visit in the evening next time.

Free to go up, but the viewing space is limited. The best viewing spots are occupied by restaurants under 1-Atico. There is still some spots free for public, but it's not a large space.

ION Sky: Views You Need to Strategize For! Want incredible Singapore skyline views? Head to ION Sky at ION Orchard. It's free to go up, but there's a trick: the access lift to the 55th floor is hidden inside the ION Art Gallery on Level 4. BUT: The best, unobstructed viewing spots are reserved for 1-Atico restaurant and Atico Lounge patrons. The public space has limited view. Pro Tip: Always check the ION Orchard website for promotions! I got full access to the prime lounge views by redeeming for a complimentary drink at Atico Lounge with a $50 spend at ION Orchard. It made all the difference! Go for the stunning photos, but be strategic to get the best experience.

ION sky is located at the ION Orchard mall. It’s like a maze getting to the top. On the 2F, find the escalator that goes straight up to 4F (you can still use the normal one that goes up and down per floor). There’s a column with a sign that shows “ION Sky via L4”. On the 4F, look for the ION Art Gallery. You need to enter the area to be able to go to the elevator that would take you to the 55F. On the 55F, turn right upon exiting the elevator, and that’s it! I hope this comment helps because I was circling around while I was there looking for the way up 😆 No entrance fee! It’s FREE.

Despite what others say the staff at the concierge seemed very helpful and were guiding people to the lift. I went at sunset and the view was very nice but nothing to go out of the way for.

This location is kinda hidden.. but the direction to this location is simple and straight forward hahaha... Once you are on the 55th floor, you will be able to see the beautiful Singapore city scape..

This breathtaking view is absolutely free and not many know about it. It’s situated on the 55th floor of ION Orchard and in order to take the lift right up to the top, you’ll have to walk into the Art Gallery which is also free. Absolutely gorgeous view on a clear day or during sunset. If you like, there is also a restaurant where you can dine which has the view of marina bay sands etc.

ION Sky is open to the public with no admission fee. To get there, head to the 4th floor of ION Orchard & look for the art gallery & concierge area. Walk past the concierge desk, then turn right into the lift lobby, where 2 dedicated lifts take you directly up to the observation deck on the 55th floor. The view is best on a clear day, & it’s usually less crowded on weekdays. Do note that the deck may sometimes be closed for private events, so it’s best to check the ION Orchard website in advance.
