Always love to eat at toast box at other branches. But appalled to see the condition of the seats at this branch and not forgetting this is a more premium mall. The seats are all torn n tattered which is uncomfortable for customers to sit on, unhygienic and not befotting of toadt box image since it is always perceive as more expensive but premium.

If you're new, the food ordering system and menu might take some getting used to. However, the dishes are priced fair, taste great, and come in good portions. The coffee and tea are good too, so I'd recommend getting one along with your food. Come here if you're looking for some local food without frills that makes you full and happy. Highly recommended :)

Bought salted egg pastries take away. Throw in a box already in display. Service fussed because I asked them to put a paper under the pastries. As if they were a give away!!! Customer service please!!!

Got the traditional kaya toast set. Kopi was just ok. Had better kopi at other places. I don't like runny eggs. Plastic individual soy sauce and pepper for dine in option. It's not worth the price.

Staff do not know what they are doing. Wanted to earn ion points, 2 male staff told me cannot, but Toast Box is written in the Ionl Orchard's list. I had to wait for awhile while they check with their colleague over the phone. After checking, they told me that it is possible to earn the points. Therefore, I went ahead with my purchase. However, after making the purchase, there is no points earned at all. Lousy staff who do not know their job!

As someone who loves kaya toast, I am trying different places in my quest to find the best! This is a popular chain like Ya Kun Kaya Toast, although I think Ya Kun Kaya Toast is better. I tried Toast Box located in ION Orchard (Food Court). Nice open branch. Lovely atmosphere. I had the traditional kaya toast set which comes with a medium cup of either Kopi/Teh and two half-boiled eggs. Order at the counter, pay and if getting the same as me, the staff will give you the hot drink and eggs straight away. They then give you one of those buzzer things that will go off, when your toast is ready. Mine literally took 2 minutes. I got a seat straight away. I suggest if you are with others as I was on my own, get someone to hold a table and then order. You need to remove the eggshells yourself. They came off pretty easily. The eggs and Kopi were fine. Couldn't complain. The kaya toast not so much. I could barely taste kaya. All I could taste was butter. Very stingy on the filling. Although it was cheap, it was slightly pricier than Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Their kaya toast was better and they give you more toast. If there was an award for bad service, these guys could win. Grumpy, rude and unfriendly.

I used to love the kopi at Toast Box but after going vegan I stopped visiting. Recently, when I took a friend there, I was pleasantly surprised to find they now offer an oat milk kopi option. I was thrilled to try it and it tasted amazing! Definitely give it a go if you’re there. If you’re not vegan and like sweet stuff, definitely try the Kaya Toast too. Best toast in Singapore.

Horrible rushed service, eggs was overcooked and had to wait 10 mins for a new batch. servers preparing the drink was in a foul mood and just slammed the drinks on the tray, resulting in a mess that i had to clean up. horrible experience, will never come back
