Senior staff told junior staff in a brash (as if the customer did not know better) tone that birthday month 20% given to Metrocard members could not be applied to items already on sale.

Went there for shopping with my wife. The metro department was so crowded. Yes, the items are selling at a crazy discount. Managed to by a wallet, a belt and a spectacles cover. Queueing for the cashier was another challenge.

Other then going to Metro or Makan, there is no reason to go to centerpoint. Its pretty quiet and it seems they are not doing very well. It only gets really busy when Metro has sale. Just another average departmental store. They have the usual kids, women, mens, kitchen department. Nice to shop during the weekdays if u want to avoid crowd.

Always love shopping at Metro and never gets tired of it. Everything you want is under one roof, from kitchen to bedroom,living hall and clothes, shoes, accessories to meet everyone's needs or wants. Always wait for their sale campaign which is much worth it.

Multiple times I walked passed this stall with long queue at the Food Republic Shaw Centre, I always felt skeptical and thought it was a normal fish soup stall. Till one day, I ordered their Number 1. which is their signature sauerkraut fish soup with rice. To my surprise, The vegetables were chewy with that bouncy taste, almost is totally a Fine Dining feel. The I tried to eat the vegetables mixed with the chillies, surprisingly the chillies were Not spicy at all. The soup, were hard to identify. As the soup seen like a flowing oceon, when you drink it the first sense is this dish is similar to the steam fish from the Chinese banquet. When it comes to fish, not many fish soup owners tends to handle it properly. But this stall, they were able to cook it perfectly. The fish grouper was tangy, juicy yet unbreakable! Excellent combination of everything into a pot. I definitely will come and eat at this stall everyday! This is truly cook by heart as I can taste with sense, texture, creativity, ingredients chosen and freshness!

I have been here for a week, and I either eat spicy hotpot or rice bowls. The taste is as good as what I eat in China. The rice bowls have a lot of vegetables and meat, which is really generous.

The best pickled fish I've ever had in Singapore is now my canteen.

It's delicious! And the food is so friendly. I can eat it every day without getting tired of it. Haha. I eat it every day. I add noodles and rice to it. Haha. I don't know what it's called, but it's delicious. 🥺

I've eaten there several times a week since they opened because the fish fillets are fresh and boneless. But recently I've been particularly disappointed. The fish fillets taste like tofu—thin and crumbly. It's definitely not what I expected; the fillets are noticeably thinner and less plentiful, and there are even tiny fish bones that pricked my gums. I took it to the owner, and she apologized and explained that they used a different type of fish. Should I continue to support them?

I come here to eat several times a week. It has become my canteen. The black fish fillet with green pepper is fresh and delicious. The black fish fillet with tomato soup is very rich.
