Service here is excellent. You will be attended to the minute you show yourself to the counter staff. Staff is very attentive and constantly topping up your tea for you without you asking them to. Every staff is warm, friendly and very welcoming! Unfortunately, food taste is not on par with the service. The roast duck is truly a remarkable, must try dish. Crispy skin with moist and tender meat. It would have been ideal if they were deboned. Double-boiled soup with fish maw and chicken is flavourful with a tinge of Chinese wine in it. The meat crab with egg white is not bad except that the crab shells are still in them, need to be careful when consuming this dish. You may want to skip the double-boiled chicken soup with matsutake mushroom and go for Ding Tai Fung double-boiled chicken soup instead. The stewed beancurd with seafood in claypot also paled in comparison to many other restaurants. Hence, can be skipped. The chilled Aloe Vera Jelly with fresh fruits is average in taste. But the sesame paste in the black sesame glutinous rice ball in ginger soup is really fragrant. Can give that a try. The walnuts coated with honey and sesame is nice. I must honestly say that the chefs did put in effort to keep their dish healthy and fresh ingredients are used so price is reasonable for the quality.

Great spot for a private family meal We visited for dinner and used a private room, which I highly recommend. It made the experience very comfortable and relaxing—perfect for having a real conversation with family and friends without the noise of the main dining hall. The signature Peking Duck was delicious and carved tableside by the chef. Just a heads-up on portion sizes: the duck is quite substantial. It was actually a bit too big for our group of four to finish comfortably, so it might be best shared among a slightly larger group. Overall, a fantastic choice if you want a high-quality meal in a relaxed setting.

The miso ramen was good, except for the tamago, which was over cooked, but the pork was better than in many other places. Good noodle. Nice calm ambiance and friendly staff.

Went for weekday dinner, it was totally empty. Ordered miso ramen. Soup a bit too salty & watery, with 1pc of chasu & half tamago. Noodles yellow springy. Not worth the price.

I’m a fan of salty food, but even I would have to say that the amount of salt was overpowering for the ramen. It ruined the flavour of the ramen as I felt that I was eating spoonfuls of salt. The bizarre combinations of mushrooms and onions in the ramen also did not contribute to the dish at all. Had to go eat some ice cream after that experience to wash my poor palate. Try to avoid this place if you can.

Miso Deluxe Ramen : 1/10 Spicy Miso Deluxe Ramen : 2/10 Miso Butter Corn Ramen : 1/10 Chicken Karaage with Negi Sauce : 6/10 12 piece Gyoza : 2/10 Verdict: Ramen noodle itself was ok but the soup, char siu was a total miss. CharSiu was just a sliced piece of ‘cooked’ pork without any hint of charsiu flavour, or for matter any flavour. might as well been eating a piece of old tyre. Soup has no depth in flavour, just miso paste with lots of salt and some ‘thickener’ and water. The shitake mushroom to accompany the ramen totally clashes with the flavours as it was too sourish. The spicy version masked alot of the mis-flavours of how a typical bowl of ramen should be, but everything else was just as terrible - pork slice, soup base and shikate. Gyoza was more a steamed / boiled version with very little pan frying that provides that slight crunch to bite. Only redemption was the Chicken Karaage. so-so only taste, that was saved with the negi sauce, which didnt even have any leek flavours. This was a omg dinner moment with family : go next door to dondondonki and buy takeaway bentos, sushi, sashimi etc would be a far better choice. Going to Maccha house to ‘clean’ my destroyed palate now... need something to sooth my failed dinner experience.

Service: Staff unresponsive and impatient. While I was looking through the menu, he was scratching his pencil at the table next to me. I sat near the kitchen and after my gyoza was ready, the bell rang but the waiter did not respond. I watched my gyoza go cold as I raised my hand to no avail. Received a change of 9.30 with 4.30 in coins without warning the customer. Food: Ramen was ok, but sparse. Not filling. Soup had no base, just hot water and a lot of MSG. Char siew is pretty much rubber. Egg was not cooked evenly. The seaweed was just packet seaweed i could get at the supermarket. Gyoza was boiled instead of pan-fried and it was just supermarket gyoza. Overall: bad service and bad food. Never coming here again.

Dull and gloomy atmosphere. Friendly service but poor attention given. We placed our orders which were repeated wrongly. And also asked for iced water, but warm water was given instead. Ramen selection was limited but that’s not the problem. To think a limited selection should assure the quality of those that are on the menu. We had both shio and shoyu ramen as well as chicken karage. Ramen was overcooked, char siew was average and the mushroom served was not the most appetising. Only redeeming dish was the chicken karage which, you can honestly get better ones anywhere too. Meat is tender and crispy on the outside.

Had a great time here after shopping. Quiet place ideal after visiting those crampy spaced shops. Food is nice, staff is friendly. Visited during Singapore's 53rd 🎂. Not sure if normal days are ad good. Choice of warm or cold plain water is provided free of charge. Think they charges the cheapest price for wet tissue @ 30cents per piece only. If unsure which to order, go for the deluxe version. It covers everything! Beware...your throat might be overflowed! Go for the gyoza, the sauce which comes with it is really fantastic! Very flavorful!

Despite what the rest of the review says here, both the boss and the lady manager was rather nice. They offered me bowls and cutleries for my little girl’s food. Also they didn’t speak anything about us bringing in some snacks from Don Don Donki nearby. That scored then two star. And unfortunately that’s where the good stuff ends. The Shoyu deluxe ramen was far from deluxe. In fact it’s as deluxe as living in a sewer drain. The “half melted egg” was about a touch away from being hard boiled to death. The shoyu broth tasted like water mixed with shoyu by a bored sous chef in the back who appeared very stunned by the fact that two person and a kid appeared in their restaurant, despite it being a cold rainy afternoon. The noodles tasted about the same as Maggi Mee. Nice folks around here but probably would never have my business again.
