VERY VERY DISHONEST money changer, avoid it like it’s the PLAGUE!!!! I’ve heard of this happening in other Asian countries but it’s happening in our own backyard now!!My partner went to change Philippine Pesos and gave them 1770 pesos and she only got S$24 instead of the $43.81 being their published rate of 40.40. When my partner refused to accept it and wanted her money back she got back 600 pesos less and When she asked them about the shortage of 600 pesos he apologized and gave her back only 500 pesos saying that’s all there was.My partner got her Pesos changed at Everest and got S$40. That’s $16 more!! The shortage of 100 pesos is approx. $2+ but imagine them doing this to over 50 or a 100 Filipina Foreign Domestic Workers on a daily basis who aren’t very highly educated and work very long hours to support their families in the Philippines. It is very sad and I hope the necessary authorities will come down hard on these errant establishments that give Singapore a Bad name.
