Chili is pure fire+sweetness Their ayam penyet is rlly good. Very sweet tho, superbly tender it falls off the bone. Well charred too Sup buntut sucks. Oxtail was tender, but the broth is absolutely terrible, really just water+ msg+ too much salt. Thus meat didn't have much flavour either. Skip

Been trying this chain several times over the years and while the the flavours of the foods are commendable, the price point and portion size are terrible. Recently, ordered the Grilled Chicken set (ayam bakar), and was shocked at the small portion of the chicken legs! And mind you this costs 9.8 for a mere serving of chicken, a quarter of a tofu, a small slice of Tempe, and a slice of raw cabbage. The portion looks more like a child's portion. For a street food menu, the pricing is daylight robbery. You are better off getting ayam penyet from hawker center. (P. S, they used frozen chicken)

Never miss to visit this restaurant every time I go to Singapore. People would say 'why would you go so far for an ayam penyet while there are plenty which taste nicer in Indonesia?' No particular answer for that. I just love it. The sambal is perfect. When in Singapore no need fancy fancy lhaaa

Ayam Pyaney serves flavorful, well-marinated chicken with a nice balance of spices. The portions are decent, and the rice pairs well with the dishes. A simple, satisfying spot for a quick meal.

Haiku review: Smashed chicken delight, a splash of Indo flavours and it just feels right. Truly one of Lucky Plaza’s gem. Dare I say one of Orchard’s best Indonesian casual dining options. While you’ll never go wrong with the staple Ayam Penyet, this place has a lot more to offer. Their Tahu Telor is divine; rich in flavour with crispy texture yet soft inside. The Ayam Bakar was also delightful. The only thing I didn’t fully get was the beef noodle soup, but mainly it’s because of my preconceived notion that such dishes should have a rich thick broth - whereas this had light rice noodles and a light soup base like Vietnamese Pho. Not saying it wasn’t good, it is! Just different from beef soup noodles that I’m used to. The place is decent, clean and not crowded. Do try it when you’re down at LP.

Indonesian fried dishes restaurant in Lucky Plaza. The food here is great especially if you come here for fried meats and seafood. Like other reviewers have highlighted, the portions are small and the service is bad. In my case, after spending $15, I was not particularly filled but the taste was pretty good. I also like the fact that the ordering is done in the counter so no service charge was applied. I guess that explains the level of service: I got what I paid for. Overall, place is good for a quick bite once in a while, but I doubt I'd crave to come back any time soon.

Came here for a team lunch, and the location was a good place because there is so much space! Ventilation was good as well as air con was going strong 👍 a little too cold, but it's okay when the sambal is spicy. Water is not complimentary, and there is a sink for you to wash your hands after. 🐟 Ikan Bawal Bakar is pretty good! Thought the fish looked pretty small, but upon eating, the pomfret was very meaty, and it was fried really well! Super crispy! I rate: 4/5 🌟 🐔 Ayam Penyet was their signature dish, and the little fritter bits were really good as well! Though a little small and dry, the flavour is good and goes really well with their sambal. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🥚 Telur Taohu is a must buy!!!! It's so fragrant, and portion size is great for sharing. I drenched my share with the sauce! I rate: 5/5 🌟 We ordered lots of other dishes and it is a bit hard to write down all, the satay was quite burnt, but the meat was chunky and juicy! Would love it if there were some red onions as well. Oxtail soup was light, and meat was tender. Perkedel (3pc) was not as flavourful, and it was like mashed potatoes in a ball. Would like it if there were more spices and small chunks of onion. I could taste a little bit of butter in there, too!

Canadian traveller here. A great restaurant to go to if your feeling hungry for Malay food while shopping. We ordered fish and the smashed beef dish as well as the oxtail soup. I like my deep fried with to have a bit of salt just to added some flavour, but unfortunately it wasn’t the case today. However, the food still tastes good. We enjoyed the oxtail soup especially during a rainy day like today. The smash beef was delicious and I would order that again. There are also several seating areas so no need to worry about lining up for too long. You have to order at the front with the mini sheet of paper and pencil they provided you. This restaurant was nice and bright and clean. The food will come quick!

I simply loved this place. My 1st Indonesian food experience in Singapore. Tried a variety of items, all were tasty. Prices are very affordable. Place is clean. Service was friendly and helpful. Only problem they don't accept international credit cards. Better have cash with you.

Located at The Atrium@Plaza Singapura (take Exit F at Dhoby Ghaut MRT ). To get here, find the lift lobby at street level, right between Hamleys and KOI Plus (at the corner of Plaza Sg nearest MacDonald House), and go to level 4M.
