Merci Marcel Orchard delivers a fantastic brunch experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and relaxed, the service is top-notch, and the food is simply delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful. The coffee is excellent, a perfect complement to their diverse menu. We ordered the Ham & Cheese Croissant and Poached eggs, both made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. Highly recommended for a memorable brunch outing!

Overall food is pretty good, especially the deep fried mini crabs. Ramen broth tasted a little bland compared to other outlets(eg. MBS outlet). Sushi was fresh and waiting time for food was about 12mins. Went for dinner at about 7pm and waited about 5 mins before we got seated, even though we were first in line and there were empty table available. Restaurant was dimly lit, but did not feel cosy.
Absolutely delicious ramen! 🍜 The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had the perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh and well-portioned. 🥢 The service was impressively quick ⏩, and the staff were friendly and attentive. 😊 To top it all off, the prices are very affordable 💰, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality ramen at a great value! 🙌
I would recommend the Akatsuki Ramen, the flavour was way stronger and we liked it a lot more. Salmon Carpaccio was good too!
Ippudo is a name synonymous with ramen in Singapore - being one of the first few restaurants to open a store at Mandarin Gallery more than a decade ago. Known for its Tonkotsu ramen, I’m of the opinion that it is middling at best.
However, this review focuses on their seasonal dipping ramen - their kombusui Tsukemen (seaweed water dipping noodles).
The name may sound unappealing, but the taste is anything but. Charsiew that is thick but not dry, a dipping sauce that is both tart and salty, but not overly so. The star of the show is the noodles. A chewy, chilled noodle with some bits of kombu in it, probably one of the better noodles I’ve had in Singapore.
Decor is suitable for a small group, maybe for a quick lunch.
Worth a try.
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Akamaru Shinaji Ramen and it was rich, flavorful, and totally worth every calorie. A perfect comfort dish that hits the spot — I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Ramen was great... but was really disappointed with the fried enoki. It's so salty that it can't be eaten. I thought it waa the top only... but it's really too salty to put in the mouth. When we gave feedback to the staff... the answer was it's meant to be so salty cos it's for alcohol... I do pair my food with alcoholic drink... just happen not to be drinking tonight. There was no service recovery at all... this was what I left the table with...
Shiromaru motoaji ramen with tamago - The ramen had good texture and the broth was not bad but there were only 2 slices of chashu.
From earlier orders:
Akamaru ramen - 2 slices of chashu and an egg. The chashu was not particularly tender. But the texture of the noodles was good and the broth was not bad.
Akamaru ramen - The noodles was good. The pork belly chashu slices were tender. The broth was a bit salty though.
We have made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a 9-pax indoor seating. Staff Hen's recommendations are all nicely presented and tasty. One of dishes, Miso Glazed Salmon, is so good that we ordered it thrice. Manager Steven is charmingly attentive and made our dining experience a very delightful one. Merci!
Ippudo’s ramen will never go wrong.
The extra spicy is so additive.
Super spicy and the soup is great.
Char siew and the onsen egg is the best.
Very large space for this outlet.
Seriously, this is very very good Ramen, with a very High End taste but at a reasonable price. I will be going back soon!
Ippudo's ramen, it's all in the noodles and soup, period. I give them a just nice 5 Stars, not 6 Stars (Michelin Class). They are really very good in terms of the full flavour of the soup, and the al-dente of the noodle--WHICH YOU CAN CHOOSE! Yes soft, medium, or hard. Love mine, noodles HARD!
The noodles has a nice bite, no flour or wheat flavour, it is well blended with the soup, so it is really awesome.
The one I ordered is with the grilled eggplant... man this is SUPERB. Well grilled, mushy, full of flavour and eggplant smell.
And the other other thing that I really really like is that you can order the side dishes you like to go with your bowl of ramen. So I chose the Onsen Egg (Duh!), the bamboo shoot slices, the black fungus, and for the next trip--extra spring onions!
My bowl is vegetarian option so the broth is still thick full of flavour. I think it is made of sesame seed milk. It is really amazing, I'm still reminiscing about the taste....so gooood!
Last but NOT LEAST, the service is 5 stars, fast, attentive, good speed in serving, ask to give water, clearing is also fast... So as I say you are getting very efficient and caring service. Very Japanese! You have to go early, the branch at Shaw House is not as crowded as the other outlets. But 6.30pm would be safe. Go! Now!
