My fav restaurant for dimsum! Have been here multiple times and decided to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday here. The service crew were attentive to our needs. Not only did they accommodated to our request to bring in our birthday cake, they also added on a plate of longevity buns with 桂花糕 for our family! Great ambience as well. Thank you!
Food wise, my top fav has always been the XO carrot cake. Highly recommended.
I recently hosted a business lunch at Taste Paradise, ION Orchard, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the elegant ambience to the exquisite dishes, every detail was well taken care of.
Special thanks to Ms Tracy and Ms Shumin for their warm hospitality and attentive service. Their kind assistance played a significant role in making our business lunch event a smooth and successful one. They went the extra mile to ensure everything was in place, and our guests were well taken care of.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to impress clients or enjoy a refined Cantonese dining experience in the heart of Orchard.
Taste Paradise is the flagship store of the Paradise Group, it serves fantastic dim sum and glorious Chinese roasts like pork belly, char Siew and even Peking Duck.
We went there for the dim sum and it is reasonably priced at about $40.00 per person, love it. Do try the baked char siew pao 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We went back for Chilly Crabs 🦀 the 2nd time and it was lovely, the roasted pork belly and char siew were great! This time it costs $170 per person. Love it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Overall have a good experience here. Nice food, nice service, nice environment. Didn't expect the noodle portion was so big than can feed 2 or 3 person.
Had an awesome meal with family. Food is scrumptious. Pricey but worth it at least once in a while. We had sharks fin soup, Peking duck, in wrap as well as duck meat, sweet sour pork, bok choy soup with abalone, brocolli crab meat , dessert was superb, we ordered mango pudding, avocado puree with coffee ice cream topping, aloe vera etc..
Our boss treated us to an unforgettable dining experience in the private room of Taste Paradise, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The Celebration Set Menu was a true indulgence, featuring premium ingredients prepared with expert craftsmanship.
We started with the Prosperity Abalone Yu Sheng, a beautifully arranged dish that was fresh, vibrant, and full of auspicious symbolism. Next came the Superior Shark’s Fin in Supreme Broth, served in a Japanese stone pot—rich, silky, and deeply flavorful. The Steamed Coral Trout in Thick Chrysanthemum Broth was another highlight, with tender, perfectly steamed fish infused with a delicate floral aroma.
The Braised 3-Head Abalone with Black Moss and Radish was an indulgent treat, showcasing the abalone’s signature chewiness paired with the umami depth of black moss. We also enjoyed the Stir-fried Red Clam with Asparagus and Lily Bulb in Truffle Sauce, which was fragrant and well-balanced, with the truffle enhancing the natural sweetness of the seafood.
For the main protein, the Crispy Roasted Duck with Garlic and Spices was outstanding—golden, crispy skin and succulent meat, infused with aromatic spices. This was followed by the comforting Stewed Ee-fu Noodles with Lobster in Mushroom Sauce, a luxurious take on a classic dish.
To end on a sweet note, we had the Chilled Imperial Bird’s Nest in Coconut Milk, a refreshing and nourishing dessert, and the Steamed Nian Gao with Coconut Milk, which was soft, fragrant, and symbolic of good fortune.
Beyond the incredible food, the private dining room provided a stunning view of Orchard Road, and since it was the Chinese New Year period, we had front-row seats to the lion dance performance at ION Orchard below. The staff were thoughtful and attentive, even rearranging our chairs after the meal so we could comfortably enjoy the show.
Exquisite food, top-tier service, and an unbeatable experience—Taste Paradise truly lived up to its name!
Visited Taste Paradise thrice and the quality of food and service were consistently good. The menu was expansive, food was delicious and fresh and I liked the plating. I particularly enjoyed their 大红袍 tea; not many restaurants in SG offer this.
Service staff were attentive and were able to recommend dishes according to my taste buds. I would like to commend Tracy Ng. She made my visit very enjoyable.
The ambience was welcoming and clean too. I do not have any qualms returning to Taste Paradise in the near future.
A nice spot in Orchard Ion gorgeous a lunch dim sum. Service is excellent as expected and the over all vibes of the place was calm and refined.
Food is good, really can't complain. The roast meats were superb. Only complaint is how their char siew lacked the "char". Which I understand people don't like for health reasons. Overall you probably won't be disappointed here.
🟧 Taste Paradise Restaurant at Ion mall 4th level.
🍊3rd Sister's birthday. She treated us to a sumptuous dinner a few years ago. The food was scrumptious as this is a high-end Chinese restaurant.
🟧 Ambience + Decor = Very chic decor.
🟩 Service-wise ✔️ very polite staff, attentive and professional.
🙏🏻🟡 All in all, this is a good quality restaurant. My third sister has very refined taste. So when she recommends an eatery, it means it is of superb quality.
I gave this place a 5-star rating based on the dim sum alone! Every dish was way above average:
1. Roasted pork belly - Easily one of the best in Singapore. Crispy skin and tender, juicy meat – perfection!
2. Steamed beancurd with dried scallop - I highly recommend this. It's incredibly flavorful.
3. Xiao long bao - Very good.
4. Steamed pork ribs
5. Steamed chicken claws
