to whom it may concern, i was walking around kids level yesterday at takashimaya while my siblings was somewhere nearby NAC. i decided to bring my mom to the kids level to just have a looks at the toys etc. as i was approaching this one particular store, my mom caught something interesting which is one of the nail polish for kids. it looks cute and she wanted to see and try out the colours. as we came from the babies section, we wanted to make a turn from the front of the store to the nail polish table. as i was making a turn of the wheelchair, this two ladies, probably your management staff was blocking the way and did not bother seeing a wheelchair coming in. due to this, the kind promoter told us to make a further turn just to go to their pink table. this attitude is not acceptable. just because we were wearing simple clothings and one person on a mobility device, that doesn’t mean those people in uniforms must look down on us. do they not know where do they come from too? your management need to do something about this as this is not professional enough and not fair for others. as i was looking around of the department stores, i notice the cashier staff was also talking to one another during shift and wearing their uniforms. even though there is not much customers around, your staff should not be doing this. even other brands did their own work such as organising their stores and checking display items. this cannot be tolerated as the promoters are doing something to ensure their store is clean. i frequently come to takashimaya and always see this as i was making payment at the cashier, i felt stuffy and suddenly having runny nose and i felt that the cashier counter was super dusty. i not sure how your staff can survive in this type of environment. why is it when i am at the brand stores i did not have runny nose and stuffiness feelings but the moment i making payment, i felt it? not only that, when i came back to the particular store where i parked my mom wheelchair after i make payment, i also caught something in my eyes. one of your staff was in her counter and not even doing work. instead she decided to lean against the wall “resting” and putting her face on her hands. how are you management people able to hire this type of lazy staff? if your own staff is lazy to work then just resign and stay home. the picture below is what i took when i saw your staff “resting”. i hope this feedback the management will take things seriously. why promoters can do a good job but not takashimaya staff? regards, keem
