Nice little place. Coffee was rich and aromatic. Orange ciabatta bread was pretty unique. Can actually taste the dried orange peels. Quite refreshing to go with the kaya spread Half boiled eggs was prepared by the staff, perfect runny balance . The tau sar pau is imported from Johor Bahru - the famous Kulai Tau Sar Pau

Good Morning Nanyang Cafe serves satisfying coffee with a smooth, comforting flavour that pairs perfectly with their lightly toasted, crisp kaya (a kind of coconut paste) toasts. The toasts are fluffy inside with a fragrant kaya spread, making breakfast a simple, delicious delight—hidden in plain sight, it’s a gem only locals usually discover.

Who knew Italian bread and fragrant kaya jam could go so well together? The kaya is rich and smells so good.

Seriously, this is the best local coffee, egg, and toast I have had in a while. A true local breakfast gem. Fresh kaya, perfectly toasted bread which is light and crisp – a must-try. The mee siam here is delicious too.

Wanted a good coffee break and decided to come by to give this a try seeing how highly rave their coffee was. ☕️ as a kosong drinker, a good coffee is needed as the sugar can definitely help cover for any misses in the coffee, but this one definitely delivered, I would imagine the cold variant would be nicer though At $2.30 it was rather expensive although there’s air conditioning. That said, the cafe feels very stuffy, humid and reeks of the kitchen smell.. Definitely not a pleasant experience, probably won’t return to dine in.

We found this little place tucked away in Far East Plaza and decided to take a stroll there from our hotel. There was a decent selection on the menu board and we picked a few of our favorites. They did not disappoint at all. True to the ratings, the dishes were delicious especially the mee siam. The kaya on toast was rather unique too and has the right taste profile. Oh yes and the nasi lemak bungkus tastes better than the ones in Malaysia too.

The battle of the kaya butter toast. 🍞 This one wins my vote hands down cos where else can you find a toast using orange ciabatta bread? Win! Good Morning Nanyang Cafe 14 Scotts Rd, #02-23 Far East Plaza, Singapore 228213 ✅Must order 👉 Set C ($7.50) which comes with an Orange Ciabatta Kaya Butter Toast + Kopi/Tea + Egg. ☕️🍞🥚🥚 ✳️Gosh, I’m so in love with the thick yet spongy ciabatta that lingers with an orange taste. ❤️ ❇️One sip of the Teh and you know it’s made by someone who loves and appreciates Teh like sis. 🤗 #tiramisoooo #tiramisoooojiaks #goodmorningnanyangcafe #kopiteh #orangeciabattatoast #fareastplaza #早安南洋

Used to go to the other outlet at Chinatown but it closed down. Have been coming to this outlet since then. Always ordered their set c - orange ciabatta bread with 2 half boiled eggs and a beverage. Their mee siam is tangy n nice too. Not too spicy. Soon kueh and chicken stew were average though. Will recommend this as an alternative to yakun if it’s too crowded (at basement lvl ).

Toast is crispy and just the right amount of kaya and butter. Eggs are plumper and fresh. This beats hands down compared to their direct competitors.

Visited this place on 28 July after 8am. The menu has a variety of choices for breakfast alone. We ordered a Ciabatta Toast Set that comes with a Teh SD and two half boiled eggs. It is my first time seeing Orange Ciabatta on the menu so I tried it and find that's unique. It goes well with the Ciabatta bread. Their half boiled eggs really got standard one. The timing of cooking the eggs v important.
