Good ambience and service at this KFC outlet located in the ground floor of Far east plaza. ♿️❌

Ordered the original rice bowl, all I got was rice, gravy and something masquerading as chicken. When you bite into those things, all you get is the coating, no chicken in it. When I approached the counter, I was informed it is chicken pop and they have no control over it. It comes in a pack and they merely cooked it. I was offered a replacement but I declined because it was going to be pointless as it was going to be the same. I gave 2 stars purely because the person in charged was sensible enough to agree to a refund. The environment was terrible in there, a crew was sweeping the floor beside me, dragging the metal chairs very loudly. No regard for people eating in there, I was not expecting fine dining experience but this totally unacceptable. Crew training on shop floor needs to be addressed. It was definitely worse than market eating.

Sheyna and the rest of the staff treats us with manners and kindness. They greeted us with a smiles and friendly attitude.

I don’t know whether it is on purpose or not. Every time i visited the restaurant they always do not serve me according to my order. Also it has been 5 times I ordered online they get my order wrong. It is obvious the server do not seems to care at all about customer service. Very bad indeed. I strongly recommend not to eat there or at least check your order before you take them to the table.

The last time I tried the curry rice bowl was half a year ago. Rice & curry were great. But today, the rice was so soft & sticky. Popcorn chicken was little. The hot milo was so diluted

Lovely local place for kopi or teh at Far East. Have tried all their toast variations and every one is good. Love their ciabatta one especially. Each toast is made to order. Cashiers and staff are all friendly.

Kaya toast is nice but the kaya spread is too thin and too little. If they are willing to spread more, it will be nicer and more acceptable. Otherwise, it really destroys the experience and is a pity.

The toasts and coffee here are excellent! The soft-boiled eggs were cooked to perfection, and the mee siam was delicious too! If I have the chance to be around this area in the morning again, I’ll definitely come back for breakfast 😋

The kopi here is trash. Not sure if the beans were burnt or the person making the coffee messed up. But either way, it was a very bad first impression for me. Kopi was sadly grainy and rough too. Fortunately, their eggs were perfectly cooked and their kaya toast was very well made. Light and crisp and not over flowing with kaya and butter. The balance here was perfect. Would be nice if they used the thicker dark soy sauce for a deeper flavor. However, at 6.20/set. I'd rather go to yakun where the kopi is also good.

Soild 3 stars. Old school ambience, nothing fancy. Old school service--- friendly but slow. The orange ciabatta kaya toast (arrived after 15 mins) is quite good. However, chicken curry (took more than 10 mins), while tasty, is just not filling. It's just1.5 chicken wings and a potato.
