Had a queue when we came by on a friday evening! Food was decent but not exactly addictive to me, definitely can’t compare to the ones in Japan haha. Portion of the chicken side we ordered was just sadly too little especially for the price. Overall all decent meal but I’m not inclined to head back just to eat again unless I’m looking for food in that area~

I was in Singapore on business and I found a ramen restaurant that is like none I’ve ever experienced! The flavors are superb and incorporates a taste that will leave you satisfied! The waiter name that starts with a J is so sweet and the managers are great too; I think they recognize me as a regular now! Ha! 🤣🤣 Very clean too and in waking distance ! Uploaded a few photos! The phots only gives you a glimpse into the experience. Keep my promise to upload photos. If you are in Singapore, please visit this restaurant.. you will thank me! See you next year! Mel

Chanced upon this ramen restaurant. Was hesitant about eating ramen initially due to previous experience of having indigestion from eating ramen but didn’t get the same indigestion issue here probably due to better ingredients used. Tried miso, tonktasu and the sardine based broth ramen. Really like the rich and creamy tonkatsu broth. Also like the fried chicken. There is always a queue at the restaurant but the queue clears quite quickly. Highly recommended this place.

My go to place if I crave for a good bowl of shoyu ramen, is at Sanpoutei (Shaw Center). The Tsukemen was their signature but I just felt that the sardine/bonito broth will be perfect if it’s thicker. I’ll recommend to order mini pork belly rice with egg, and add extra chashu to make up for more proteins. #ramen #singapore #sgfood #japanesefoodsg

Having just recently returned from northern Japan, I came looking for a taste of niboshi ramen. As I came in a big group, we ended up ordering almost every type of ramen available, but I only tried the signature shoyu ramen and the kotteri one, so this review is based on that. I preferred the shoyu one, which gave a taste closer to the ones I had in northern Japan. The kotteri one was probably intended to more creative, with pork fat and garlic added, which added different flavours, but they seem to go in different directions. Ingredients wise, the noodles is quite different in texture from other ramen places, so I guess it’s a matter of personal preference. Charsiu and onsen egg were both very well done. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Second visit to this ramen shop at orchard road. Ordered spicy tsukemen again, but this time it doesn't taste as good again. Part of it maybe because I was not really hungry. Despite that, I will still give the taste 8 out of 10, no argue that it's better than average ramen in Singapore. The tsukemen broth is made using sardines, very flavourly and thickness is just nice. Spiciness is actually slim to none. To conclude, $17 before tax for this above average tsukemen is worth it once in a while. There will be short queue usually around 645-730pm. Taste: 8/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Price: 6/10 Recommend to try it.

#1st review# The Sichuan spicy chicken (la zi ji) is surprisingly good, surpassing many restaurant offerings. Based on today's tasting, I would rank it among the best in Singapore. The aromatic spices create a well-balanced, appropriately spicy dish. The chicken pieces are also an ideal size, and the consistently crunchy texture enhanced the overall dining experience. #2nd review# (a week later) On a return visit, I opted for the mala xiang guo. The ingredients were undeniably fresh, and the overall flavour profile was not bad. The substitution of chickpeas for peanuts was an interesting and successful touch, adding a unique texture and flavour.
