The Library @ Orchard is a hidden gem in the heart of Singapore, offering a serene escape amidst the bustling shopping district. Located in Orchard Gateway, this library is modern and thoughtfully designed, with a focus on lifestyle, design, and the arts. Its spacious layout, cozy reading corners, and floor-to-ceiling windows create an inviting atmosphere perfect for reading or quiet contemplation. The curated selection of books, magazines, and digital resources caters to a wide range of interests, with an emphasis on creative and design-centric topics. The library's unique shelving, arranged in a flowing, wave-like pattern, adds to its contemporary aesthetic. There are also dedicated areas for exhibitions and workshops, making it a vibrant community space. Whether you're a book lover, a design enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful place to unwind, the Library @ Orchard is a must-visit destination in Singapore.

A 30-45mins of AI generative zones depicting some general facts of Singapore. Suitable even for young kids at 4 and above. Touch points of history of Singapore with the tie in of books which you can borrow from the library. Go in from level 4 and it ends at level 3. Booking online before heading down.

I visited the Orchard Library before it closed for renovation, and I always loved its calm and cozy atmosphere. The modern design, quiet corners, and wide selection of books made it a great place to read, study, or just take a break from the city. Though it’s temporarily closed, I’m looking forward to seeing how they improve it. Hoping the refreshed space will bring back the same peaceful vibe—with even better facilities.

A wonderful look into the history of Singapore, and the possibilities of the future. I could write so much, but instead recommend going to see for yourselves. But this is a limited time exhibition. Using AI in a fun and educational way.

Stall no. 8; one of my top picks in the food court. They got a salted egg chicken rice that in my opinion bests the famous one at Sim Lim Square! The chef is hard-working and determined; while the auntie is humble, nice, very genuine. Recommended!

They have a big range of fresh bakes and are more unique compared to many other bakeries. Their limited time fluffy cheese bread tastes really delicious and is sinfully addictive. The aroma and flavour of the cheese makes the bread one of my favourites. Be sure to grab some when you are in the area and toasting it a little at home makes it even better.

Salted caramel cheese bread sounded indulgent but the filling was minimal, quite disappointing. The shio pan was good, buttery with a crispy bottom. For the price they charge, it would be better if they could at least provide 1 bag per purchase, as it is more hygienic for storing buns in our bags.

Johan Paris at Isetan undoubtedly offers a wonderful selection of fresh pastries, breads, and buns of all sorts. Their items are always freshly replenished, so you’re guaranteed quality every time. Although the prices are slightly higher than average, they certainly don’t compromise on taste and quality. Our favorite is the fluffy cheese soft bread — generously filled with soft, semi melty cheese in every bite. Always a must-buy whenever we visit Isetan!

The fluffy cheese bread here is absolutely irresistible! Soft, pillowy, and packed with an incredible amount of rich, gooey cheese in every bite. It’s baked fresh daily and released at 3pm and 7pm. Definitely worth timing your visit around those hours.
