We found this little place tucked away in Far East Plaza and decided to take a stroll there from our hotel. There was a decent selection on the menu board and we picked a few of our favorites. They did not disappoint at all. True to the ratings, the dishes were delicious especially the mee siam. The kaya on toast was rather unique too and has the right taste profile. Oh yes and the nasi lemak bungkus tastes better than the ones in Malaysia too.

Used to go to the other outlet at Chinatown but it closed down. Have been coming to this outlet since then. Always ordered their set c - orange ciabatta bread with 2 half boiled eggs and a beverage. Their mee siam is tangy n nice too. Not too spicy. Soon kueh and chicken stew were average though. Will recommend this as an alternative to yakun if it’s too crowded (at basement lvl ).

Toast is crispy and just the right amount of kaya and butter. Eggs are plumper and fresh. This beats hands down compared to their direct competitors.

Visited this place on 28 July after 8am. The menu has a variety of choices for breakfast alone. We ordered a Ciabatta Toast Set that comes with a Teh SD and two half boiled eggs. It is my first time seeing Orange Ciabatta on the menu so I tried it and find that's unique. It goes well with the Ciabatta bread. Their half boiled eggs really got standard one. The timing of cooking the eggs v important.

I enjoyed a freshly baked Japanese shio pan and the best strawberry matcha latte at this cozy café in Far East Plaza. As a Japanese person, I was truly impressed by the quality of the shio pan — soft, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with a light, savory flavor. The strawberry matcha latte was rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. I also love that they stay open until night, so I’m planning to come back for a relaxing evening treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese shio pan and unique drinks in Singapore!

Been here a few times during the weekends, a nice place to chill and relax. The owner is nice and friendly! They used 100% arabica beans and the coffee is good! The shio pan is amazing too, fluffy and yummy 😊

TL;DR: The shio pan is the star—go try it. Coffee was kinda meh though. tried both the original and black sesame shio pan and what stands out for us was the texture. it's what a good shio pan should have, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. the original is more buttery but I enjoyed the black sesame more due to the mild nutty taste. the auntie was pretty friendly too and shared her dedication to bake. it was pretty quiet on weekend afternoon and space was quite cozy although it's quite small.

Their coffee and shio pan are top quality. It’s such a pleasant surprise to discover a small shop like this offering such amazing taste and authentic shio pan bread. Truly a hidden gem! Many place in Singapore sell shio pan, but This can match the ones I tried in Japan.
