Fans Cafe serves as a compact refreshment and light meals destination within Far East Plaza, catering to shoppers and workers seeking quick bites, beverages, and casual dining options between more substantial activities. This type of establishment fills an important niche in multi-level shopping complexes, providing accessible spaces for brief respites without the time commitment or formality associated with full restaurant service. The cafe operates with efficiency and convenience as primary objectives.
The menu typically encompasses a practical range of cafe standards including coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, sandwiches, light pasta dishes, and various snack items designed for quick consumption or takeaway. Pricing aligns with the casual positioning, keeping beverages and food items accessible for frequent visits rather than special occasions. The environment facilitates both solo visitors catching up on phones or quick meetings between shopping sessions and small groups taking breaks from retail activities.
Fans Cafe maintains extended operating hours that track with Far East Plaza's general retail schedule, ensuring availability throughout the shopping day. The service approach prioritizes speed and convenience, recognizing that many customers are working within time constraints or seeking efficient solutions between other activities. While not a destination in itself, the cafe serves the practical function of providing accessible refreshment options within the building's ecosystem.

tried both the original and black sesame shio pan and what stands out for us was the texture. it's what a good shio pan should have, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. the original is more buttery but I enjoyed the black sesame more due to the mild nutty taste. the auntie was pretty friendly too and shared her dedication to bake. it was pretty quiet on weekend afternoon and space was quite cozy although it's quite small.

Their coffee and shio pan are top quality.
It’s such a pleasant surprise to discover a small shop like this offering such amazing taste and authentic shio pan bread. Truly a hidden gem!
Many place in Singapore sell shio pan, but This can match the ones I tried in Japan.

Their matcha latte was decent. Their black sesame shio pan was buttery and fragrant but the ham shio pan was disappointing.

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! Fan, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She not only made great recommendations on what to try there but also suggested some amazing local restaurants. We had such pleasant conversations and she truly made the experience memorable.
The food was excellent as well. They serve only one type of bread, but it is clear they have perfected it. The shell is beautifully crispy, while the inside is warm, soft, and buttery. Simple, yet done to absolute mastery.
On my first visit I tried the matcha latte and it was so good I had to come back the very next day. Fan even gave me a sneak peek of a new menu item, the Strawberry English Breakfast Latte. It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, yet packed with flavor. Absolutely delicious!
Highly recommend this spot, not just for the food and drinks but also for the heart and passion Fan puts into everything she does.

I especially love the coffee and Matcha! The taste Is very smooth! Get the chance to chat with the lady boss, the beans are carefully selected, freshly grind and make. Matcha powder as well! Their signature is also Shio Pan, the owner flew all the way to Japan to learn and bake everyday. Food that make with so much love…must try coffee. Matcha is my daughter’s favourite.
