Fantastic find in this mall, brings back nostalgia. Penang char kway teow the best amongst the dishes ordered with generous scattering of lup cheong. The fried carrot cake had lots of bean sprouts and egg. Pie tee, lor bak and rojak were decent. Penang laksa was the only dish kind of underwhelming. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Not my first visit to this Penang restaurant, their Assam laska and rojak is one of my favourite, but realised that the prices have increased by quite a bit since my last visit almost a year ago. For two noodles, a sample r, rojak and two drinks it cost $56. It will be nice if they provide menu with prices instead of just showing the food menu on the table.

Assam laksa is good. Penang char kway tiao got wok hei and savory. Chendol can skipped. Price on the high side as in city area. Came during dinner time on weekdays and no wait at all. Would say quiet. Can try for once if never try before.

I tried three dishes and one drink at a restaurant in Penang: Asam Laksa, fruit rojak, fried kway teow, and Ambra plum juice. The rojak and fried kway teow were quite authentic, but the Asam Laksa didn’t live up to expectations. The Ambra plum juice was still decent. Overall, the prices were on the higher side.

For Appetisers, we had the Belachan Chicken Wings, Homemade Loh Bak, Kueh Pie Tee, Chye Tow Kway and Homemade Turnip Cake. For Mains, we had the Assam Laksa, Prawn Noodles Soup and the Sin Chew Fried Bee Hoon. For Dessert & Drinks, we had chendol, barley and nutmeg-lime. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and value-for-money. The fried items had wok hei and the prawn noodle soup was obviously made using prawn heads. The assam laksa used the correct noodle which is rarely seen in Singapore and the turnip cake was soft; I preferred the turnip over the chye tow kway. The chendol was as it should be and the nutmeg-lime drink was very good. The only drawback is there is very limited seating though they do take reservations so that your group can fit in.

My first time trying out putting on lashes and I’m glad I did it with Layla which is conveniently located at Far East Plaza! Kelly was really friendly and she ensured me not to be afraid as I was quite nervous during the treatment. She recommended the type that suited me the most for my first time and I went with the 3D Volume Eyelash Natural Eye. No regrets at all as I did not need to put any make up after having the lashes! 🥰 They have up till 5D volume, with different types of eye from Open, Cat to Doll. My one eye was smaller than the other, Kelly mixed and matched to balance out and made them both look equal. Very professional indeed! They even have colours lashes too. Great to shine at your upcoming parties! 🌈 Definitely the place to go if it’s your first time trying out lashes or if you’re used to having them on. Remember to look for Kelly! The also provide other services like normal and gelish manicure & pedicure, for brows and lips too. Check out the many services that they offer! Definitely recommend! 👍🏼

This is my first time doing lash extension and I am glad to be served by Manager Kelly, a very observant and professional lady. She recommended me a more natural-look lash after observing my droopy eyelids and confirming I don't usually put on make up. The whole session is around one hour and fuss-free and I even dozed off for a while. She also share with me the aftercare before she allows me to leave the shop 🤣 Like the outcome - now I have not-too-dramatic-doll-like-eyes. Will come back to Layla Lash Brow if I want to do extension again.

Kelly was really friendly and everything was done in an hour :) she customised my lash design to my preferences and was really mindful that i wanted natural lashes! will definitely recommend layla lash 👍👍

First time trying Layla's lash extensions and l'll definitely go back again! Lash retention rate is really good! This set of lash was done about 10 days ago. Layla will ask and check what's my preference and liking before recommending types of lashes to do. She'll make sure I feel comfortable throughout the session. Totally recommend!!!

Kelly, the lady boss was very friendly and experienced. She helps me to decide on the lash style & length based on my eye shape & preferences. I'm happy with the end result ❤️. Throughout the whole process, it was very comfortable, there was no stinging sensation and the lashes were thin & lightweight. The price ranges between $50 - $88, which I find it pretty affordable. I did express manicure & pedicure too. They are perfectly done. She knows I'm rushing for time, and she did it very fast yet it still look really pretty and nice.
