I’m dining at Jibiru Somerset today, and as a vegetarian, my food choices were quite limited. However, I’d like to specially commend a staff member named KC (male). He was extremely patient and took the time to carefully explain which dishes were suitable for me. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made my dining experience much more pleasant. Excellent service like this truly makes a difference. Thank you, KC!

I had my cataract lens replaced with it became cloudy in a govt eye centre. However, the lens was dropped inside my eyeball during the Covid season. I could not see anything except shades of lights. It was panicky. Luckily, I had kept in mind about Dr Claudine Pang through an article in the papers prior to my incident. To get the appointment was a breeze through their website apps. Upon reaching the office, my first impression was the staff are very helpful and interested in your problem. I can feel the care, concern and sincerity in their questions. I was put through the very advance machines to check my eyeballs, retinas, vision and eye pressure and you get the complete and thorough examination of your eye in this hour. Dr Claudine Pang was a young, petite and sweet lady. But lo and behold, inside this ophthalmologist packs a set of strong skills, knowledge with experience and confidence to recommend an emergency vitrectomy ,laser my retina in case it came off and replaced my dropped lens. A exceptional skill worth noting is how she is able to insert the lens through my sutured iris, which as torn in the first operation. It demands skills of the highest level, steady hands and concentration to ensure the iris is not torn. Each and every follow up with Dr Claudine Pang was very professional and she is very detail and clear in her explanation and I get to ask any questions, always never rushed. While the cost is the standard for a private ophthalmologist, Dr Claudine Pang has kindly waived off or lowered some charges when she knew that my business is not doing well, all without me asking for it. After going through so many experiences in my eye, I am glad to have met an opthalmologist that shows care and concern that truly upholds the true meaning of the Hippocratic Oath.

I started noticing floaters in my right eye in May and visited Asia Retina two days later to get them checked out. Through the use of cutting edge Optomap retinal imaging, Dr Pang and her team quickly identified the issue as a hemicentral retinal vein occlusion and further confirmed this via fundus fluorescein angiography. While there was a considerable amount of new information to take in, Dr Pang was exceptional at explaining what the results meant in easy to understand ways and the follow-up steps for treatment. Dr Pang prescribed eye pressure-lowering medication to help speed up the recovery and indeed the floaters receded immensely within the coming weeks. She was also extremely rigorous in diagnosing the root cause of the occlusion and arranged for me to take a comprehensive blood test two days after my initial appointment as she suspected it was underlying health-related and wanted to cover all the bases. Shortly after the blood test results came out that night, Dr Pang called me directly and identified the likely root cause as being cholesterol-linked (my LDL was exceedingly high). She then immediately referred me to an endocrinologist and wrote a detailed letter explaining the situation, leading to a referral consultation the very next day. All of this was done within days of when I first noticed symptoms; while this was an incredibly stressful time for me, I could not help but be in awe of the efficiency and rigor of Dr Pang and her team. Around the same time, my short-term visit pass in Singapore was set to expire and Dr Pang was proactive in providing documentation for a medical extension of stay until I managed to secure a longer term extension. In the seven months since, I've had recurring check-ins with Dr Pang and her team to monitor my recovery progress and the quality of all of these follow-ups has continually been nothing short of first class. I'm so happy to say that I've now made a full recovery and I have Dr Pang and her team largely to thank for this. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the efficiency, thoroughness, quality, and effort in the work they do, which from Day One has left me beyond grateful and speechless. I'll be leaving Singapore and returning to the States at the end of the year and among the many incredible things about Singapore I'll miss, one is definitely my interactions with Dr Pang and her team. This is truly the first and only time in my life I'll miss going to the doctor haha! :) Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Pang and Asia Retina Team for everything you've done since the beginning of this journey!

Through a very thorough eye checks, Dr Pang managed to somehow pinpoint the possible cause of my deteriorating visions. She suggested me to do MRI and true enough, there's something pressing the optic nerves, hence the loss of my peripheral visions. Because of that, I managed to get it remove immediately through surgery and my vision returned to normal. I'm very thankful to Dr Pang and to all the staff at the clinic, who are all very friendly and helpful.

I consulted Dr Pang for Ptosis. Dr Pang was very professional and took care to explain the treatment options and address my concerns. The surgery went smoothly, with excellent post-op medical care and support from Eileen and team. I am very satisfied with outcome of the surgery, especially with much improved vision. Had a very bad experience at the clinic today. Staffs were unfriendly and the dr was not helpful at all. My mom was supposed to do an eye check up for her ptosis but they ended up doing other checks not related to ptosis. And the staffs did not even inform us that the checks needed almost 3 hours (checks + consultation). As we were referred from another clinic, the staffs said it was the other clinic's responsibility to inform us. What?? Shouldn't they also reiterate the duration?? When my mom told her that she was experiencing floaters, yes the dr did explain it is a degenerative condition that can't be prevented. Although she recommended supplements to help reduce the floaters, when i asked her what kind of supplements she just said the ones that she will be prescribing. When i asked her again what kind of supplements will help, she said 'ya like i said, you will get it at the counter later' Does she mean that supplements sold elsewhere cannot help??

Such a great team and Dr! Came here after a bad eye infection and a slightly dramatic/OTT Dr that saw somewhere else. I wanted a second opinion and very pleased I came here. Everything about Asia Retina was perfect and my vision is also perfect again!! Highly recommended!! Thank you!

I can’t thank Dr. Pang, Eileen and the medical Team at Asia Retina Surgery Center enough for bringing light back to me life again! I was devastated when I was diagnosed with retina detachment of the left eye on Jun28. Thanks to the extreme dedication and medical proficiency by Dr. Pang and the Team, not only was my left eye saved in time with a smooth surgery, their post surgery care was key in ensuring a smooth recovery for me. After 3 weeks, I had the myopia of my right eye fixed with the ICL surgery too. My vision is now progressively improving every day, and I’ve gone specs free - all thanks to Asia retina surgery center!
