I bought the triangular parmesan cheese bread thingy and had to microwave it with some butter to enhance the taste. I would buy it again if I’m desperate for dry bread.

I work nearby within the Orchard Belt and have always seen my colleagues rave/eat this for lunch. For years I didn't try but finally, alas the day has arrived. If you like fish soups on the lighter side, with fish that softly breaks into this gentle, bouncy bite size white goodness, please give it a try. The serving is generous and most surprising is that when you do takeaway, auntie provides small trays for the soy chilli sauce and even a origami-style folded boxes that you can take use as a table garbage bin while eating! The thoughtfulness, quantity, quality and price definitely warrants a 5-star. Uncle and auntie please keep it up! Do give them a break on the customer service please. They aren't young anymore and standing 8 hours for 6 days straight can easily drain your soul over a course of 31 years and counting (they opened since 1993).

First of all in terms of the food easily one of the better fish soups in SG. I go quite often. But even more important to me the humans running it are immaculate. I didn't have cash on me when I wanted to eat today (Cash only). When the aunty selling heard about this she said (translated from chinese) "aiyo don't need la can just pay me next time. Even if forget to pay also never mind, its a small thing I am more than happy to treat you to a meal. Whoever wants to eat I always say ok, it's my honor to be serving food". How often do you hear this? Left me speechless. Highly highly recommend!

The moment I had my first sip and the moment I took my first bite on their fish soup, I fell in-love immidiately and I kept comming back over and over again.🤗 This is my ultimate favorite Singapore local food!🇸🇬 A must try when you visit SG. Adding more milk, chili and salted fish sauce will make the soup creamier and tastier! Love it so much! Pls. do visit them at Lucky Plaza and try their famous fried fish soup. I tried other Fried Fish Soup from other hawker centre’s in Singapore but nothing beats that Creamy Fried Fish Soup in Lucky Plaza. Hua Ji Fried Fish Soup had my heart! 🧡❤️💖💕🤗

Came here on a Thursday lunch hour and there was a steady queue already. Heard good reviews about this place for its fish quantity and flavours! Think it's due to price increase for hawkers, I personally feel its pretty pricey. But flavours wise is really quite pleasant. The milky soup had a depth of flavours, and the addition of rice wine really elevates the aroma of the soup. The fish slices are chunky and jiggly. I ordered fried fish mi fen with milk. There are 5 fish chunks and a handful of veggies. For the price $5.50 they only added the fried shallots. Would be good if the fried egg is not chargeable at 50cents. My friends loved it though! :) do try!

The aunty at the front was super rude; she made a mistake and forgot my order, then blamed me for not standing at the front. I saw her pass my order to someone who arrived later than me, so I waited in line for nothing. Initially, I spoke nicely to her, but she didn't apologize and kept pushing the mistake onto me. She said she would make another fish soup for me but kept getting it wrong, and others who arrived later than me received their orders first. I'm really frustrated with this lady; she's consistently rude, and this isn't the first time. I don't even want to give them one star, and I won't be going there anymore. Super disappointed for her attidtude!

One of the best purveyors of slice fish noodle soups in Singapore. And definitely THE BEST in the Orchard Road area I have ever had. TASTE: Succulent thick fish slices in a rich flavourful broth topped with deep fried egg floss will leave your taste buds and tummy immensely satisfied. VALUE FOR MONEY: In today’s climate of “shrinkflation”, you will be pleasantly surprised at the generous portions and wallet-friendly prices right in the heart of Orchard Road. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Speaking of friendly, the female boss Doris is incredibly warm and helpful even when you are indecisive on what items it is you want from their menu (a rarity for me as many successful busy hawkers appear often to be impatient and irritable).

seriously this stall serves the best fish soup I ever had in my life. be it in the form of normal sliced fish, fried fish, fried fish head or double fish (both normal sliced fish and fried fish), it is very delicious smooth and QQ. the fact that they only operate until their ingredients are fully sold out shows that the fishes they use are super fresh and they don’t keep any leftovers to resell etc unlike other fish soup stalls nowadays. they usually sold out by 3.30pm to 3.45pm, really popular among the working adults crowd. the unfiltered & unedited (100% what you see what you get) photo attached below is the medium sized ($6.50) fried fish head thick beehoon soup with milk added at no additional cost (中文:炸鱼头粗米粉汤加奶). the fish head is super crispy and the soup is fresh & fragrant beyond words. a must try if you already had their normal fish slices previously and got bored of it 😁
