I recently visited CS Fresh Gold at Paragon while I was in Orchard, and honestly, it’s one of the most impressive supermarkets I’ve ever been to. It felt less like a regular grocery run and more like walking through a gourmet food hall. The selection is top-tier. I was especially impressed by the fresh seafood section—they had live lobsters and oysters from Japan and Ireland, and everything looked incredibly fresh. I also picked up some beautifully marbled Wagyu beef cuts from Ryan’s Grocery’s premium selection, and they were absolutely worth it. Their cheese and charcuterie section is a dream—so many unique options from around the world. I ended up getting a wedge of Manchego with truffle, and the staff even helped me pair it with some cured meats and a nice bottle of wine from their curated wine wall. What really stood out was how well-organized and upscale the whole space felt. Even if you’re just there to grab a few things, the experience makes it feel special. They even have a little corner with gourmet pet treats—something I haven’t seen elsewhere in Singapore. If you enjoy high-quality groceries or just want to treat yourself to some gourmet finds, CS Fresh Gold at Paragon is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for sure.

Waited for 5mins and the staff is nowhere to be seen. 🙄 Best part is the timing is 1.40pm and the staff is missing at peak period. And when the Filipino aunt came, her face was so unhappy and talked so rudely.

Don’t usually leave bad reviews, but my experience today really warranted one. Visited on 16 Oct around 4.40pm. The staff manning the self-checkout counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. I had purchased items that were clearly labelled with a promotional price for buying two instead of one. When I politely pointed this out and even offered to show her the sign (in case it needed to be removed if outdated), she dismissed me with a curt “no need, no need” and walked off without even looking. No attempt to check or clarify — just completely dismissive. Very poor attitude and customer service.

Just tried the Chu Cheng 褚橙 Bingtang oranges at the tasting booth and… WOW 🍊✨ I finally understand why they’re so famous — super thin skin, so juicy, and that perfect sweet-sour balance. Even the flesh is extra tender and refreshing. One bite and I was sold 😂 I also learned they’re winter-grown in the highlands of Yunnan and harvested only at peak ripeness, which is why they taste so naturally sweet and flavourful. No wonder they’re known as the King of Oranges and sell out every year in China 🔥❄️ If you’re curious, you can catch them at cold storage brooth and try them yourself 🧡

It was my 1st grocery store in Singapore, as it was the closest from the place I stayed at. Some good deals, but I could find the price of some breads, and fruits were quite expensive. They have fresh bread and viennoiseries, they also have food cooked there as well as sushi's. By the EOD, you can found half-priced items which is nice.

Hi, I would like to raise a concern regarding the hygiene practices at the Paragon Cold Storage raw fish section. Previously, there was a Malaysian Muslim woman who handled the raw fish counter. She was extremely professional — from cutting to packaging raw fish, she maintained excellent hygiene standards. She always changed her gloves after handling raw fish, washed her hands, and ensured that plastic bags were kept clean before handing them to customers. Her careful and thoughtful work prevented any risk of cross-contamination. However, she no longer seems to be there. Recently, the Malaysian Muslim man currently stationed at the counter has been handling raw fish very poorly. Raw fish blood often ends up all over the plastic bags, and he hands them directly to customers in that condition. He also does not change or remove his gloves before placing the fish into the bag, causing the entire bag to be contaminated with raw blood. This poses a serious health risk, especially when customers are handling these bags barehanded. If a customer is with a child and later holds the child’s hand, the child could easily put their hand in their mouth, leading to potential exposure to bacteria or diseases. I sincerely urge management to look into this matter seriously. Please provide proper training to all raw meat department staff to ensure strict hygiene practices are followed. Food safety is crucial, and customers’ health should never be compromised.

This is probably one of the most beautiful and well organized Cold Storage I’ve been to. It just gleams. They have a really great selection of everything, and a wide range of produce and perishables. I really like going to this Cold Storage more than the other many locations in the area. It’s also a great location because it’s super convenient to pop by the many other stalls in Paragon’s basement area or to grab dinner at a restaurant and then pop by here to grab some groceries before heading home

This is some premium type of supermarket 😁 The store is clean and they sell almost everything here. They also provide fresh herbs and fresh, organic vegetables. They also provide different kinds of meat, cheese, dairy products, chocolates, snacks, drinks, and more. I'd love to go back! …
