Kampung Nasi Lemak at EatAlley Orchard Gateway brings authentic Malaysian-style nasi lemak to Singapore's premier shopping district, operating from the basement-level food court at #B2-12. As part of EatAlley—a Malaysian food theme food court that brings together famous KL street food vendors—Kampung Nasi Lemak offers a dish with humble roadside beginnings and legendary queues, now accessible to Orchard Road shoppers in a convenient food court setting.
The restaurant specializes in Malaysia's national dish, featuring fragrant coconut rice infused through a special twice-steaming process that achieves maximum aroma and texture. Diners can choose from various nasi lemak sets with different meat options, though the Nasi Lemak Ayam Rempah with crispy fried chicken marinated in traditional spices stands as a signature offering. Must-try items include the perfectly cooked eggs, crispy ikan bilis (anchovies), and sambal that delivers the essential sweet-spicy kick that defines great nasi lemak.
Located within EatAlley alongside other famous Malaysian vendors including Hong Lai KL Hokkien Mee and Koon Kee Wanton Mee, Kampung Nasi Lemak provides a taste of Malaysia's diverse street food culture without requiring travel across the causeway. The food court location provides efficient service and reasonable pricing while maintaining the authentic preparation methods that earned the original roadside location its devoted following.
For nasi lemak enthusiasts seeking the authentic Malaysian style—distinct from Singaporean variations in rice preparation, sambal flavor profile, and accompaniments—Kampung Nasi Lemak delivers faithful authenticity in a convenient Orchard Road location.
Ordered Nasi Lemak Beef . Was more like Nasi Lemak Fat. Rest of taste was okay la. For 10.80$ dollar you can get better food. Also the beer from the both nearby. A pint should be more than 0.33. It’s almost a tourist area. Could be some of their guests only come one time here.

Ayam berempah overly salty and hard
Nasi kukus soggy no taste
Ikanbilis flies were running into it
All these happens when stall just open and food just prepared only. Imagine you consume at night or middle of the day? And its 9.80sgd a plate?

Nasi Lemak Ayam Rempah was delicious, chicken was juicy and crispy. Service was friendly - randomly walked by going to the MTR and decided to eat. It was easy to grab a coffee from the toast spot down the way, they also sell beer next stall.

Pretty decent Nasi Lemak and the portion is pretty filling. Loved how the chicken is fried well and the accompanying crips pairs well with the rice.
Price wise, do expect it to be town area price for a plate of Nasi Lemak. But if you have a craving and have no idea what to eat, you can try it out!

Very good find at the basement 2 of orchard gateway. Chicken is so meaty and tender, flavor is just right and serving is generous. Highly recommended

The food court is not cheap and one set cost more than $10. The rice is very fragance and chill is not too spicy and sweet. So I can understand why some people don’t like it. The fried chicken set comes with a lot of fried crumps which I find it very nice. i still feel it is value for money with the large portion in orchard vicinity.

Food is good. Nasi lemak is fragrant. Ayam rempah was fried crispy while still being juicy. Beef rendang was rich and tasty. Chili was not too spicy. All in all a good place to try local malay food. Staff was friendly and helped me with ordering food and answering how spicy dishes were
Good value for money considering it's orchard road.
