If the mobile order is not working as intended, please proactively inform customers waiting around the store. I waited 15 mins to realised that the store is not receiving or printing out the mobile orders, and they had to take a photo of my screen to then make my order. A saving grace was the staff slotted in my order and it was ready shortly. But this totally was not the idea of mobile order, which was to order in advance and be able to pick and go.

Very bad service. I ordered through the Koi App. When my order was ready to collect, I approached the lady behind the counter to ask but she told me that my drink was not ready. I stood aside waiting for my drink while looking at the counter and saw she secretly took out my drink and place it at the side. After about 5 mins when I approached, she said yes it was ready and the drink that she took out minutes ago, was mine. This outlet, led by 2 ladies displayed a Very bad service

Went KOI Somerset around 9pm and honestly quite disappointed with the service, especially from one of the staff named Jill. After she served the previous customer, I was just standing nearby to look at the menu first before ordering. She clearly saw me standing there, but totally ignored me and didn’t even ask if I wanted to order. I waited there for a few minutes, then only she slowly came over. When I told her my order in Chinese, she straightaway replied in English asking “Medium or large?” but her tone was unclear and I thought she was asking about sugar level, so I answered 50. Suddenly she raised her voice very rudely and repeated “Medium or large?!” like I offended her or what. Really don’t understand why need to be so rude. If you don’t want to work, then don’t take it out on customers. We all just want to buy drinks, not get attitude. KOI should seriously train their staff better in customer service. No basic manners and very unfriendly.

Love Koi’s membership perks! Tapped on the 1-for-1 free medium sized sized of your choice during birthday month. It also comes with any topping of your choice. I had the Green Tea Macchiato with Icecream 25% sugar. And tried the Lychee Milk Tea with Pearls 25% sugar on the new seasonal menu. The lychee was wayyyyy too overpowering and was quite sweet despite 25%.

I’ve been to this Marks & Spencer a few times and it never seems to have short-sleeved work shirts in stock. Every visit ends with me being told to check another branch that’s out of the way. That’s already frustrating, but today something else really threw me off. While browsing, I overheard two older staff members loudly joking about trans people. It wasn’t just casual chatter, they were laughing in a way that made it clear it was meant to be mockery. Honestly, it’s disappointing. Everyone’s entitled to their opinions, sure, but that kind of talk belongs in private, not in a store where customers of all backgrounds are shopping. I’m not even trans and it’s frustrating to hear anyone being mocked for simply existing. It doesn’t take being directly affected to see that kind of behaviour for what it is, just plain unnecessary. I get that some people from older generations might not realise how disrespectful that sounds, but once it’s said in public, it stops being a personal quirk and becomes a workplace issue. It’s 2025. Inclusivity shouldn’t be treated like an optional extra. Marks & Spencer lists its core values as Quality, Value, Service, Innovation, and Trust, and claims a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination. I’d really love to see that reflected in the staff culture too, not just in the marketing. And honestly, if not for moments like this, it’s actually pleasant to shop here, the layout is nice, the selection’s usually good, and the atmosphere could be great. It’s just a shame when behaviour like that overshadows what would otherwise be a really good experience. Because at the end of the day, a brand built on trust should feel safe for everyone to walk into, not just the ones who fit someone else’s comfort zone.

This store is great! There's a food section tucked away at the back and the clothing range in the main part of the store is great. Special thanks to Ramon for absolutely wonderful service - he greeted me with a cheery "good morning sir!", guided me to the area of the store where I could find what I needed, and even popped into the back room to find the specific item in my size, which wasn't in the racks on the shop floor. Great job, Ramon!

Visited the store on 13 Aug afternoon and was really happy with the service and care provided by the staff - compliments to Wen Li for her friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring service! She waited for me to browse for a bit before offering help, which I appreciate :) When I was not sure about the shades of lipstick, she even did swatches on her own hand to show the different options. Overall, I loved the service, and the store was maintained well too. Would love to visit again 💕

The ladies here pester and hard-sell quite a lot but they give so many freebies, and huge sizes for some samples too!! The small ones were great for travel. Way more than the other branch I went to. I spent $30+ less this time at this other branch but the difference in freebies was insane. Maybe different promotions since it’s a few months apart and different amount spent but worth the hardsell. (First pic is their feee samples, I spent like $150+(?) after discount at this outlet, second pic I spent $110+ after discount at another outlet) They knew all their products and gave great recommendations even tho my hair condition was being insulted 🤣. Worth it I guess.

dropped by The Face Shop last Friday night on 22/8/25 and was quite disappointed with the experience. The store’s official closing time is 10:00pm but at 9:45pm the door glass panel was already pulled and the place looked like it was shutting down. By 9:49pm, the cashier had already closed the register and started counting money. If the store hours are until 10:00pm, customers should reasonably expect service up to that time. It feels unwelcoming when staff start packing up early. I understand staff need to leave on time, but perhaps management should inform customers on its website closing time better 15 minutes before actual, instead of stating till 10pm cutting short the service hours.
