Came at 8pm hoping to try the sizzling sisig, but was told it was no longer available. The staff seemed unfriendly and even served a group that arrived after me. I ended up ordering rice with roast pork and mixed vegetables. Unfortunately, the food was served cold and tasted below average. Some pieces of the roast pork were dry and tasted stale. Disappointing meal. Edit: Gave this restaurant and managed to try the sizzling sisig this time. It was tasty and satisfying, though a little on the salty side. Tip: Visit in the afternoon for a wider variety of dishes.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday at around 8pm - and was surprised to have one of the best sisig I’ve had! The sizzling sisig was so good, a marriage of flavours - savoury, sour, spicy & umami. Portion was pretty generous for $8! The hotplate was pretty hot and leaving the sisig on it made some nice charred bits! The other sides (a beef stew & the lechon) was more of a miss, pretty mid. Not sure how it was counted but those portions came up to $14. It also cane with a free sour soup - which was really appetising (but salty!) Will defo be back for the sisig, and I even got a sisig to go!

I would give 5 stars for food if not for the very hard stale bread. Tasted like yesterday leftover bread. Spent $46.30 here today. I like the fish and tapioca cake custard. Not too shabby. The Chinese server was helpful and gave me free soup and explained and gave some food recommendation. For a local singaporean this is like a hidden gem if u want authentic Pinoy food. I realized Pinoy food not very spicy, I appreciate different cuisine from time to time.

Tosilog is actually a combination of the different components of the meal - Tocino (cured pork), Sinangang (garlic fried rice), and Itlog (egg). The cured pork was so thick and flavourful, almost like a version of charsiu with sweetness to it, but might be somewhat tough for some. The Sinangang was the star of the show though, so fragrant and aromatic and paired so well with the meat and egg. The soup was sour (in a good way) and helped to cut through the oiliness. Overall, enjoyed this Tosilog Set ($7.50). Had the Maja Blanca ($2.30 per pc) too. Also called Coconut Pudding, this is made from coconut milk, cornstarch, and sugar. Corn kernels are also added to give added sweetness and crunch. Thick and creamy, this was similar to the Nyonya kueh of my childhood. The toasted coconut flakes at the side also paired so well with the pudding. Delicious!

They offered 5 stars review for 2 bubble teas. I didn’t take up the offer. But after I tried, I came back purposely just to still rate it 5 stars. …

Tried their signature Oriental glutinous lemon tea, the tea base was smooth, and the balance between sweetness and acidity was just right. If you're in the Orchard area and looking for a distinctive beverage, give this place a try.
