Kabayan Filipino Restaurant Pte Ltd celebrates Philippine culinary heritage through authentic dishes that transport diners to the flavors of Filipino home cooking and regional specialties. The restaurant serves beloved Filipino classics including adobo, sinigang, lechon kawali, kare-kare, and Bicol express prepared with traditional techniques and genuine Filipino seasoning that delivers the sweet, sour, and savory balance characteristic of Philippine cuisine. Each dish reflects the cultural fusion that defines Filipino food—Spanish colonial influences, Chinese trading traditions, and indigenous ingredients combine into unique flavor profiles that comfort Filipino expatriates while introducing others to this underappreciated Asian cuisine. Kabayan provides communal dining atmosphere where generous portions encourage sharing, just as Filipino culture emphasizes hospitality and togetherness, serving Lucky Plaza's Filipino community and curious food lovers seeking authentic taste of the Philippines in Singapore's cosmopolitan Orchard Road district.

Diabolical price. Potentially a scam. Ordered a regular meal and on the side, ordered a piece of chicken roughly smaller than the size of my palms and was charged $5 for it! When I looked at the register they had charged that piece of chicken as a “Set A” meal which in its description included rice, veg, and I believe meat as well.
I asked what was that for and they said it’s for the chicken, and that’s how they charge it. Given the sheer absurdity of charging a meal’s price for a piece of chicken, I asked for the full Set A meal instead since I’m paying for it but was denied and forced to pay for the chicken.
Everyone, please be vigilant on the prices and ask carefully before ordering, especially if you are a foreigner or look like it (I know I do).

I would give 5 stars for food if not for the very hard stale bread. Tasted like yesterday leftover bread. Spent $46.30 here today. I like the fish and tapioca cake custard. Not too shabby. The Chinese server was helpful and gave me free soup and explained and gave some food recommendation. For a local singaporean this is like a hidden gem if u want authentic Pinoy food. I realized Pinoy food not very spicy, I appreciate different cuisine from time to time.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday at around 8pm - and was surprised to have one of the best sisig I’ve had! The sizzling sisig was so good, a marriage of flavours - savoury, sour, spicy & umami. Portion was pretty generous for $8! The hotplate was pretty hot and leaving the sisig on it made some nice charred bits!
The other sides (a beef stew & the lechon) was more of a miss, pretty mid. Not sure how it was counted but those portions came up to $14.
It also cane with a free sour soup - which was really appetising (but salty!)
Will defo be back for the sisig, and I even got a sisig to go!

I was there on a Saturday during lunch time and the crowd was real. I have to queue a while before I get to place my order. They do have dessert too but I will save that for my next visit. I ordered Tosilog as I would like to try their garlic rice. Nothing special about it. The meat was dry although it was flavourful.

Spacious place with many seats during a weekday lunch. Thankfully the chinese staff is kind and patient with my order, as it is my first time and I'm not familiar with the filipino names. I tried the rice and chose a beef, a pork and a vegetable, total $10.50. They are cold but not bad. The complimentary soup is very salty. The place is air conditioned and you can some condiments at the side table.
