EDIT: After a week of back and forth with SGshop and their CS team, my case was escalated to senior mgmt and a compromise was reached. In addition, today I received a DM in which they announced a change their shipping method selection policy. Glad to see they are starting to read their reviews and listen to their customer. DO NOT USE SGshop! Please read before using this scam company. 1. They hide costs and blame you for not knowing these hidden costs; you will be hit with a massive shipping cost upon them receiving the goods at the “China warehouse” at which point they will harass you to pay the insane shipping cost, discard the parcel and lose any refund, or pay for the shipping and insurance back to the seller (no doubt how they make most their revenue). 2. They changed my shipment method without me giving consent; I received a “problematic order” notification which said air shipping was not an option (after I paid for the goods) and I should change to sea shipment which would take much more time to deliver. I NEVER agreed to the change, however they went ahead and sent it out anyway so that they could lock me into some sort of secondary payment (where they make their revenue). I pointed out both these massive flaws in their operational processes and they “tried to help me” however they continued to insist I pay for the insane shipping to Singapore (where they make a crazy margin I’m sure) discard the parcel (which they resell at a profit), or pay for the return shipment plus insurance to the reseller (again taking a profit I’m sure). Hey SGshop! I figured out your scam! I just hope this review saves someone else from giving you a single cent.
