The spinach tofu and braised abalone with mushroom and broccoli were both mouthwatering and packed with flavor. The other set meals are super reasonably priced, making them a great choice for office workers and tourists alike!

Nice noodles. Ordered the epi tempura set noodle. Set meals come with a soup and dessert, which is very affordable costing less than $10 per set. Noodles ain't that salty. Staff are friendly and serve with smiles. Not sure why but there are couple of flies flying around though.

Delicious food variety that is at a reasonable pricing. Was really surprised by this hidden shop within lucky plaza to churn out delicious foods and not having me to break my bank for them. 🤣 Staff was friendly as well! The shop gives me a nostalgic feel. Simple decor but great food to surprise ur tastebuds

Bloody Toad Bloody Toad

Small restaurant serving unique delicacies which you usually cannot find in local singapore. Tried the buddha jump over the wall meal. It tastes great! I highly recommend not to add vinegar to the soup because it will spoil the taste even if added a bit. The meal also comes with a small plate of bean sprouts and their special chilli (??) Which taste not bad too. Their home made spinach bean curd is also unique and tastes great! The dessert is a nice sweet white fungus dessert. LIKE IT!! Their shop state close at 9 pm, but latest order will be around 7.30-7.45 pm. Seats are limited, when I went it was not crowded, likely because lucky plaza is mostly flooded by Filipinos and their similar stores.

If anyone duno, they are the budget canned sharksfin brand you find in supermarkets here since 30 40 years back. A brilliant way of cost control, they use the function of a eatery to clear out the more inferior or fast appraoching lifespan products, whipping up delicious, clean and light palate delicacies at a super economical and budget price for all. Of course prices has slightly jumped but really not much in the last 8 years i been patronising. They throw in free dessert ( white fungus, gingko, goji) and free tea as well. Abaloned are now alot smaller, even brocoli too. It is always light taste or bland, but they have their signature dry xo condiment which you can ask for more as accompaniment. I been to the southbridge road outlet more since my office is there. And trust me both outlets their staffs are never friendly, grumpy ot morbid, and southbridge outlet servers are all local/ malaysian aunties who will chew you over the slightest like taking your time to order, or selecting your seat preference. But they all do what is needed, you eat in a safe, clean environment so that is fine

2nd time coming here on a weekday lunch and crowd levels are consistently high. Came before 12 noon and we still had to wait for a while. Hot Chinese tea is complimentary. It is a very affordable place for clam, sharkfin and shell related seafood lovers. Starting from $6.50 onwards, Buddha jumps over the wall at $11.50. A huge variety of dishes as well and menu is on the wall outside. Staffs are very quick and efficient. For a set meal of $6.50 and above, it comes with a main, a dessert and hot tea which it is mad affordable!! Taste wise is also quite homey and comforting. The XO sauce at the side is very addictive. You can buy it at the counter home as well. Our favourites so far is Set F, T and W!

This restaurant has been around in Lucky Plaza since my teenage days. They serves different varieties of set meals. ($6.50 onwards, main dish + rice + dessert + tea) The potions is generous and the pricing are reasonable. Ingredients are fresh and food is tasty. Their food taste and standard are still very consistent over the years. Staffs are very friendly. This restaurant is a gem. Highly recommended.
