Food is great 👍🏻 Hot, fresh and crispy tonkatsu, I can say it's the best I've ever hadin Singapore. Staffs are friendly and with initiative to refill cabbage and tea. 👍🏻 (Highly recommend cheese tenderloin.)🤤

Saboten Express at the newly renovated Cathay Mall continues to serve some of the best tonkatsu in Singapore. The quality of the pork cutlet remains excellent — golden and crisp on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The Japanese rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked, making each bite satisfying and true to the classic Saboten flavor. That said, this outlet runs under a different concept from the regular Saboten restaurants. Here, only rice and shredded cabbage are refillable, while the miso soup and ice cream — usually part of the set with unlimited refills at the full-service outlets — are not included. The staff explained that this is because it’s an “Express” outlet. However, I was a bit disappointed and seem the prices are not any cheaper despite the scaled-down concept. Given the lack of the usual extras, it feels like you’re paying the same amount for a more limited experience. Still, the food quality remains consistently good, and if you’re nearby and craving a quick tonkatsu fix, Saboten Express at The Cathay is a reliable option.

Forgot to take photo, tried the loin katsu which is not bad , but the cut of the meat is slightly fatty. Service is pretty good too they came around topping up for cabbage once

Dont ever come to this place to buy/sell & paste screen protector. Was there yesterday to paste screen protector, the butch in specs did a lousy job & yet show attitude. Uncles there talked crudely as well. Such a turned off . Keeps asking u to pay $ when they did such a lousy job. Still tell me to recommend friends. Disgusted

I bought a screen protector at this shop and they suggested the matte finished which the seller said that it was 7x more stronger that the usual protector. I was surprised when I see that the protector was just like a plastic film. When I asked, he said that its made of silicon. When i bring my phone to singtel they told me that its not a durable screen protector, rather just a usual film. Dont ever do to this shop

My mother wanted a binoculars and visited this store. The sales person showed an Fujiyama 10X25 Binocular model FMB 1024 at price of $250. When my mother was not interested, the sales agent pressured to purchase by doing one time discount of $100 but no refunds. My mother who is elderly, felt obligated to purchase, and at home I inspected the product and found that the manufacturer offers same product on sale at $25. So the original price was 10X more. I called the store to enquirer and was told blank no on any efforts to deal with refund or and no apology at what so ever on pressuring elderly people to buy items that are inflated. My advice to report them did not cause any concern to this trader and I can see from previous comments why. This trader does not look for repeat customers, they are inflating products and using pressure sales tactics on vulnerableelderly people who still trust on people being honest. My mother is so embarrassed that she got scammed by this trader, please stay away from this shop.

Awful service, rude and dismissive older man. Asked for the best price but said i had to consider, got upset because i didn't buy on the spot. Fine. Checked regarding color options and got told he wouldn't check for me unless i confirmed i wanted to purchase. How to confirm when I dont even know if you have the color i want? Didn't want to buy from them anymore at that point because of his service. Avoid at all costs, better store just nearby which i ended up getting my phone from.
