First tried the 1/2 roasted chicken at the taiseng outlet and love it so much the best roasted chicken for me, so happy to see it at ion. The roasted chicken is as good as I rmb and exceed expectation for the steam chicken (first time trying). This is quarter chicken portion fyi @ $13.50. The quality of the tender meat and the flavour is 🫶. Even tho I'm not a big fan of chicken rice but I'll certainly be back.

Chicken rice in food court with long queue but it wasn’t worth my wait. I have tried several chicken rice in Singapore but this one is such a disappointment. The rice was on the dry side, chicken was so so and sauces were lack of flavors. I also ordered a set for takeaway. When I opened the box, I was shocked with the tiny size they gave. Not worth the money.

Will come to eat this hainan chicken rice again.. actually i was eat at vivo city branch.. there is no google map location for sergeant hainanese chicken rice on vivocity mall.. the ginger sooo damn good! And the chilli too! Omg gotta try this again.. so so good..

I always, always come to this place whenever I visited Singapore. In my opinion, they serve one of the best chicken rice in town. I like the fragrant of the hainanese rice and the tender of the chicken. Btw the choice of the chicken is steam or roast, both are good! If you come in 2 persons, you can add vegetables in your order. It tastes good, reminding me of the homecook veggie. Overall, it’s a must try place when you visit Singapore.

1. Rice: A let down. Dry and not fragrant at all. 2. Steamed White Chicken: It came Laden with Thick Sauce over the chicken. Failed! 3. Green Vegetables 🥬 set: Was pathetic and dull looking. Tried the Large sized chicken rice. Portion was generally okay but still may not be enough for a male grown up. The steamed chicken meat was not very dry but could definitely be more tender. Only one sauce was given as I ordered takeaway. Staff was efficient though as it was not busy after lunch hour.

This chicken rice stall in Food Opera, ION Orchard serves up really good and delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice. Surprisingly this stall was not crowded during meal time and this stall deserves the praise for serving simple yet flavourful chicken rice. STAFF: Attentive and able to take orders to your preference. FOOD QUALITY: Outstanding. The chicken itself, roasted or steamed retains the flavour really well and the meat is succulent and tender. The rice itself is steamed well and has a nice garlicky flavour. The chilli hits the spot as well. PRICING: Reasonable.

We heard about Singapore being famous for Hainanese Chicken. Since almost everywhere you will find this dish. It just so happen that we are staying near ION Orchard and we found this recommended by google map. Little did we expect that it is just a food stall in the food court of ION Orchard. It was a pleasant surprise. We got there at lunch time and the food court was packed. After finding a table, I went to order the different sizes of Hainanese Chicken. Small for my wife, medium for me and large for my son. The price was cheap for a filling meal. My son was surprised how much I paid. I have tasted a lot of Hainanese Chicken in Singapore, Taiwan and the Philippines. I could say that this rank on my top list of stores. Love it.

The Taste are good and delicious. This chicken is my daughter favorite. The taste when i visited in March 2025 smells are good. The ginger and chili are good taste too. The chicken are tender and juicy, they use broiller not kampung chicken. I order 2 style
