A hole in the wall that opens only at 8pm for late dinner and supper. I was initially skeptical as the pictures in the Google reviews I saw didn't look very good, looking pale and lifeless. Ordered the signature bak chor mee ($7.90) with mee pok, and when it came, it didn't look very good either, quite plain looking. However, once mixed, we discovered the sauce is all underneath, so you need to mix to coat the noodles. The other liao are all in the soup - Fishball, her kiao, meatballs, pork slices, liver (1 tiny stray one despite us saying no liver). Taste wise, or was excellent - way better than it initially looked. The chilli also packs a punch. The soup was also sweet. The fish balls, meatballs and pork were all succulent. Service was good. Despite ordering just 1 bowl to share, we were served professionally. Ambience felt like a ramen bar.

It's quite a fascinating story that the uncle who used to run the stall at Clarke Quay's BK Eating House now helms this outlet with a young team (as detailed in the 8days online article). Given the small size of the space, I appreciate that they offer GrabFood delivery, allowing us to enjoy their food from the comfort of our own home. The mee pok bak chor mee is perfectly al dente, with a robust chili sauce and a well-balanced umami flavor. The soup and ingredients together make the entire bowl exceptionally enjoyable. If I'm ever out for drinks, I'll definitely swing by in person for a bowl of these noodles!

They took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered helpful suggestions based on my preferences. The bouquet I purchased was fresh, beautifully arranged, and clearly handled with care. The final result reflected their creativity and attention to detail. The pricing was fair and reasonable for both the quality of the bouquet and the level of service provided. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this shop. It was the perfect cherry on top of my gift, especially since my best friend and I have always loved exchanging thoughtful presents. The entire process was seamless and stress-free, as Dolly’s clear understanding and experience in her craft brought my vision to life with ease, I just told dolly the flower and colour schemes. I was referred to this florist by my daughter, and I’m so thankful for the recommendation. It’s evident that this place genuinely values the customer’s experience above all else. The bouquets are very reasonably priced, and it’s clear the priority is not profit, but the creation of something meaningful and heartfelt. The flowers were sensational! EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE was talking about how gorgeous they were. My friend almost cried when she received the bouquet. Your flowers received tons of compliments from friends and even strangers that was seated a table away from us. Many people asked for your information. You truly have an amazing talent and you’re absolutely excellent with your patient at what you do. You greatly exceeded my expectations. She picking up tons of extra bloom to execute the bouquets in my mind, without extra charges. I can't thank you enough for hard work and expertise with re-creating a bouquet that was set in my mind. Stumbled upon Dolly’s store thanks to google and walked out with the biggest smile on my face. The flowers were GORGEOUS and I absolutely adore them! I almost wish I wasn’t giving them away 🤣 She stuck to my budget, delivered beyond my expectations, and did that all within 30 minutes. What more could I ask for? Dolly is such a sweet and warm lady and I am so delighted I found her store. I am definitely coming back again!

I absolutely cannot recommend Flowers Flowers by Dolly enough! She was so helpful fron the minute I stepped into her shop, listening to my requests and questions as it was my first time buying flowers. I informed her of my price range as well as the purpose of the flowers, and she recommended me some arrangements and flowers right away. I was able to choose the colour of roses and asked her for her advice on fillers and the colour of the paper. I deferred to her 18 years of experience and let her work her magic. The turnover was fast (2 days) and collection was seamless. She even put in some more expensive fillers as she said it would look nicer. However, she did not charge me any extra for the more expensive flowers, saying that it was just to improve the overall bouquet. Her prices are already very reasonable and affordable! Dolly is very generous, experienced, and really has her heart in the business. She explained to me that apart from selling flowers to customers (both corporate and walk-in alike), she also gifts her flower arrangements to organisations and schools. This is the best best best florist. Extremely reasonable prices, the lady boss Dolly is so kind and knowledgeable. She knows what are the best flowers for the occasion, and throws in amazing pieces to build the most beautiful elegant bouquets. $145 for 3 stunning bouquets, done in under 30 minutes. Please please support a local business who really takes care of her customers.

Really enjoyed picking out a boutique here! Went to get flowers for a hospital visit. Picked a main flower then Dolly suggested the filler flowers and wrapping style and paper. All within my budget at that. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to purchase flowers! Easily the best florist in Orchard indeed. :)
