This review is not about this particular outlet at centrepoint, but in general singtel's service. I needed to get an additional wifi mesh, the shop at tampines mall said I can only go to somerset, and then gave me a letter for collection. the letter doesn't provide address or indicate exactly which outlet, so i google singtel somerset, which brought me to 313@somerset. the staff at 313@somerset told me the correct shop should be centrepoint. so i had to go to centrepoint instead. also, it's extremely inconvenient that singtel only allows collection of additional mesh at ONE outlet in the entire singapore. I stay on the far eastern side of the island and have to go all the way to somerset just to collect a mesh. doesn't it make more sense to have at least one outlet in the east and one outlet in the west for collections? So much time and effort just to collect a mesh.
Terrible staff service on 15th August 2025, the guy serving me was acting nonchalant. . . Little explanation on everything I asked. . . Best part was, I was collecting ntuc vouchers for my friend, who signed me an authorised letter, and the staff still can request for her NRIC. . . How am I supposed to have her physical NRIC with me, isn't it an offense in Singapore to hold on to someone's else physical NRIC??? Then he replied, photo also valid. . . Please lah Singtel, can train your staff properly? Is this even a legit request? Why don't you write this on the authorised letter then, that physical NRIC or photo of NRIC is required, is the staff not being trained or is his superior asking for too much information?
I ended up have to ask my friend to send me her NRIC photo, and I produced a photo of her passport main page to validate this collection. Honestly, this is not the first time I ever experienced out-dated services at Singtel, it was just 2 years back when I visited Singtel and they refused to accept the Digital NRIC that I login on my Singpass apps, despite the government already advocating about validity through the Singpass apps and the country already going digital.
Lastly, one of my collection letters, this particular staff said it could be a duplicate and he can't accept the collection. Then I asked, so how and by when will I know that it's a duplicate? He replied, Singtel will resend me another letter if it's proven not a duplicate. I replied, then I've to come down here again to collect? He nodded. . . He literally thinks I stayed nearby Orchard and it's very convenient for me is it? No apology on behalf of inconvenience caused by Singtel, nothing at all. . . not even a thank you after the whole service, I've to tell him thank you instead. . . @Singtel, your staff service is horrible, even if he's just a part-time staff, his attitude could have been better! Please relooked into your protocols just as well with regards to producing others NRIC!!!
Really slow service. The guy I was served by was probably new- which I understand why it can be slow as his colleague was guiding him. But when my number was called, I came and shared that I had been advised to replace the router. And he just stared at me blankly without saying anything. I even doubted he was the guy in charge and had to reconfirm with him if he was indeed the right person I was talking to.

Went twice out of stock, ask to check availability online. Cant find call number. Not sure got the colour i wanted. When recontract ask to choose option like so nice but collection is nightmare. Hope will be my last collection there.
Singtel service has been bad for years, nobody seems to be know what they are doing from agents on whatsapp to crew on the ground. Signed a re-contract plan on whatsapp and chose to self collect router at this place, singtel staff here informed me this router has not been issued for a very long time and tells me there is nothing he can do, asks me to check with customer service again. Wonder how much more time will be needed after wasting a trip down. Singtel customers pays a premium over other telco yet gets substandard service.
Business days stated as everyday even for public holidays 12-8pm. Not even reflected in their business hours they are close today. It isn’t clear on the hours. Please state clearly and reflect accordingly. I have to look around the web to finally find out is on eve of Christmas and new years it is 12-4. Waste my trip down.
