Was glad I came across Papilla at Nex and met Yumi. Yumi is patient, friendly and approachable throughout my first consult despite my many questions. Have been with Papilla from Nex to Wheelock for over a year and never regretted it. Progress for my hair growth is slow but significant. Thanks to Yumi and Chris all these time for their efforts!

I had the chance to try the NAD+ scalp treatment at Papilla. The treatment was very cooling on the scalp, which felt amazing, especially in our hot weather. The scalp massage that came with it was also super relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional, and they explained the process clearly so I knew what to expect. I’ve noticed less hair fall since the treatment, and my scalp feels much healthier. I definitely recommend giving this treatment a try.

Obscure pricing and unclear promotional tactics. On the Ad, the promotion was $88+ but through the consultation the consultant recommended only treatments that were outside the promotion and wrote those prices on the iPad. When I later asked about advertised promotion just before making payment, he later said it was a limited time offer and then offered a $50 discount. Since I did agree to the pricing before commencing the treatment because I really did want to try, I didn’t make much fuss and just paid but left feeling unsatisfied. Experience at the clinic itself was also very mid. For the price point, the clinic was surprisingly not well fitted out, very bare bones and minimalistic. Hair wash area was next to the storage drawers. The staff carrying out the treatment was nice and did explain well. The receptionist and consultant didn’t leave a lasting good impression. Was rather impressed by the professional medical devices used during the treatment. Unlikely to return. This review is a reflection on my subpar experience at the clinic.

I've been going to Papilla for a few years. I first started doing SEP or MPH every 2 weeks, and later once a month for maintenance after my hair condition improved. The therapist who does my treatments is Swan. She is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to chat with. She updates me on good promotions and does not hard sell treatments / packages. I enjoy treatments done by her. Thank you!

Disappointing experience at this salon. I signed up for the $88 trial and ended up paying $500 for the treatment. The hair therapist tried to hard sell a package of $10K treatment!! The treatment itself was average, the service was below average, and the high-pressure sales tactics really put me off. Even when I expressed hesitation, the therapist continued to push the package, lowering the price but not salvaging the situation. For the price and service, I'd say this place falls short. Wouldn't recommend.

Queenie is amazing! I have been cutting hair with her for 10 years now and she is not only excellent at her craft, but also makes you feel so welcome and I just trust her to handle my hair, and she never fails to deliver. She recently did a balayage for my wedding hair and she did such a fantastic job that it really showed the colors. Thank you so much Queenie and well done!!
