This was my first time trying OPT hair removal, so I was honestly really nervous and even a bit scared—especially because I’m a super ticklish person. But Serence and Khloe were amazing from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, guided me through each step, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.
My armpits had quite a lot of hair, but after the treatment they looked so clean, smooth, and even visibly brighter. I was really surprised (in a good way!) by how well everything turned out.
The entire experience went so smoothly thanks to Serence and Khloe. I’m really happy I chose this place for my first treatment and would definitely recommend The eyebrow city.
I did microblading last year Mar and also did a touch up in last Sep. This time i went again in Mar as well. The staff there are very friendly. Fanny did my brow all three times and it was like so natural and wow!! She is really super good. Joey is so helpful
When i wanted to change my appointment and also put in my requirements on how to do my brow . So accommodating. Good place to of you really care for your brpws!!
Been with them for at least 3 years, package after package and the appt is getting harder and harder to get. Even my appt is 6pm, I only managed to go in at 630pm.
The regular manicurist I go to has gone back to China and ever since I can't find a good one to follow. Their staffs are getting newer and is not experienced... the last I went, was served by this newbie that the manager kept scolding her. So she was buffing(?) my feet until to a point I feel pain, I told her once but I think she didn't hear, and continue doing so until to a point I couldn't take it anymore and told her pain. She then told me she must be doing a good job to clean my dead skin away.. after the pedicure, there was a cut and I was hesitating to tell them afraid she will get scolded further. So I bear with it.
And as usual, at the end, another one asked me to renew my package at a special price. I do agree their gelish and prices are good but until they fixed the demand issue and find more experience staffs, I guess I won't be renewing it..
I’ve been coming here for 1 year plus. Their gel manicures and pedicures are long lasting. They almost never chip. However, the shop is always busy, even though they have many staff. Even if you’ve booked an appt, there’s no guarantee they can let you in punctually.
I’m writing in a review today to specifically compliment Elaines. My appt was at 5.30 pm and they only let me in close to 6 pm (they had a lot of customers before me). I expressed my dissatisfaction about the timing cos I had another engagement right after so I was about to be late. Elaines asked me what time I had to leave and did the manicure so fast. I really appreciate her effort - she was super efficient. She also asked her colleague to help out with the pedicure. I left around 6.20 pm. This was by far my fastest session ever. Thank you!
They will treat you nicely—right up until you sign the package. After that, their attitude changes completely. Difficult to get an appointment. EVERY single visit turns into a pushy sales pitch with some ‘limited time promotion’ to get you to extend your package. The place itself is dirty and dusty, the staff even gossip about clients behind their backs, and the service is mediocre. Honestly, I’m just relieved my package is finally over. Never coming back again.
Difficult to get an appointment and the Chinese lady boss' attitude is bad, rude and arrogant. Attended by the same technician twice, both time nails filing till bleed! Brought my own stickers to stick and their service charge costs $5 per piece!! (previously was $3 per stick) Honestly, $3 per sticker is expensive, yet now is $5!!! Worst is they did not inform of the price increase before doing!! Their overlay is $5 per nail and $10 for a nail extension.
I had my gelish mani pedi done about a week and a half ago and immediately, the next day, one of the toe colours fell off.
Even during the service, they massaged one leg but not the other.
Than over the next few days one by one, more and more fell off. I went back to the shop for repair and got bad attitude.
I am so glad I did not sign up for a package with them as I would have had to put up with MORE bad service.
When I returned to get the fallen nails repaired on 30/6 at 8.45pm, the girl asked if I had a package with them. When I said ‘no’, she screamed at me, witnessed by all the clients and other manicurists.
I showed her the $107 record on my credit card and even though the name of the company was clearly there, she queried the record!
DO NOT PATRONISE THIS SHOP THAT GIVES SLIP-SHOD AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND EVEN SCREAMING AT A CUSTOMER!!!
The one in the baseball cap who believes that she has the right to simply scream at customers.
Extremely hard to get an appointment or walk in. They may want to consider opening another branch or two. Either that or stop pedaling their packages to everyone as they clearly cannot keep up with the demand.
They desperately need to top up all their supplies as well. Colours are slowly becoming limited as their nail polishes finish up, lack of variety in nail tips, nail accessories (stickers, ribbons etc) are out of stock.
Despite all these, I keep returning because their quality is great, at reasonable prices. None of my gel nails or extensions have ever chipped or fallen off, and they are very long lasting. Here is an example of 5 weeks’ worth of retention.
Visiting this place is not for the faint-hearted!
Horrible job by manicurist Evon, not only did she spray very hot water on both of my feet . This is her work, (less than 5 minutes ago). Everytime I come here I have mentioned make sure you cover the toes completely and of course they don't. The big toes will always be thick at the end part. I made the biggest mistake by signing a package at this shop. Now I have to keep going for 5 more time before I'm free of this disgusting horrible nightmare.
Everyone of them are just as bad.
I guess i should have read all the red flag reviews before coming into this nail salon. I visited it randomly wanting to do a very simple classic mani pedi with a buff instead of color. I clarified the price, quoted me $48 as per the price list at the cashier. I thought this was rather reasonable but seeing the crowd, I asked again if i could do now instead of having to wait. I was told i could do it now.
I seated myself down and waited for the nail tech to gather her tools (which took some time) but i didn’t mind it. After she started working on my feet first, another nail tech came up to me, and began working on my nails. As soon as she cut 3 fingernails, there was a bit of commotion among the techs and my manicure lady got up, escorted another customer beside me to another shop. I was confused as to why she said sorry and left. So i asked my pedicure tech what’s going on and was told that she had left to another shop. I asked if she was coming back (to finish her job with me) and again, after going back and forth with other nail techs and some commotion, i was told that someone else would attend to my nails in 10 minutes. Again, i kept my patience.
I was completely perplexed. All this happened without me comprehending what went on as they spoke in Mandarin. Never bother to inform customer what is going on and left to wonder in confusion. What sort of service is this? Do nail techs just leave their work halfway and someone else just fills in after? Is this normal? Legit asking.
The results of my classic mani/pedi with a shine was at best - passable. It was pretty obvious that the first 3 nails were cut by Tech A, and the remaining 7 were by Tech B. They were uneven. Strange. 1 star for the shine, another star for the drinking water they gave at each seat.
The ending was the shocker and again, another big question mark for me. I wanted to pay by Nets/Card, was told $60 by same lady who earlier on said it was $48. So i asked why is it now $60. I was told because using Paylah it is $60. Strange. I said i don’t have Paylah, i can pay by Nets/Visa/Paywave whatever card options she has and then the lady said nevermind and took out a POS machine for my card payment. At that point i felt uneasy, and changed my mind to use cash instead. At that point, i paid $48 cash. So by what logic is it that using Paylah requires me to pay more, totally beats me. If you know the answer do enlighten me.
Ambiance is not as comfortable, disorganised and dusty. I would never go back here, and would caution anyone who intends to sign up for packages here.
